The UPS Store reviews
13There is a reason why this store only has 2.7 stars, because some of the staff lacks the common decency when it comes to serving customers. We have used this store for a very long time and almost every day but not anymore. My wife went to drop off some packages not realizing the store was closed. The staff person opened the door and very aggressively said they were closed three times. My wife wasn't even attempting to get in the store, she was just trying navigate the many packages in her hands. My wife then proceeded to tell her she could at least smile and say it a little nicer. The employee called her rude and told her she doesn't have to do business there anymore if she is going to be rude. Does expecting common courtesy now mean you're rude? It is nice to know that UPS is so big that common courtesy from its employees is not a priority. I strongly suggest that the owners of this establishment train their employees on what customer service means, even if you are closed and off the clock.
I came on 7/3/23 the hours showed 6: 30 pm a paper was posted next to door that they closed at 5: 30 pm for the holiday. The girl working there closed before 5: 30 pm since I arrived before 5: 30 pm. I called and she said she could close earlier if she wanted. Horrible customer service and she had a horrible attitude.
It costs $3 to print out a shipping label. Other places charge way less. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I moved to Santa Paula a year ago, and I've never had a bad experience at this UPS location, and I have been there several times. Staff are always friendly, and very helpful.
I dont understand the bad reviews, maybe in the past but I've had stuff notarized. I've had lots of returns to amazon. And I've never had any kind of problem. They can be a little friendlier. But they get the job done and they're helpful.
Store is not even open during posted business hours. What a joke of a business and can see why so many negative reviews.
Gabriel is a great customer service person. I was returning Amazon item for the first time, he made it look easy. Thank you
No international shipping. Yeah. You heard right. Ups at santa paula does no international shipping…. Good business plan….
The angry old man charged $4 per black and white print. He reluctantly explained that he had charged us for the use of the internet and computer as well because he used the computer to process the print and payments. There was no specified amount for these charges and he refused to provide a receipt. Need to print 10 pages? That might cost you $40 instead of $5. Amazingly terrible service from a genuinely mean owner.
Clean store helpful staff. Old man was nice and they accept Amazon returns contrary to other recent reviews.
Sign on the doors says they aren't taking Amazon returns? They can refuse those? Shame!
The older man who works at this location is not the best. He forgot to put part the address on my package. Hopefully it still makes it to the correct location. On top of that he was very invasive about what the package contained. I would understand if it was “is it liquid or fragile” but he straight up asked what was in it.
I dropped off a medical priority package that was needed to be delivered the next day. When I check the next day they said it was forgotten and they didn't seem to care. STAY AWAY.
