The UPS Store reviews
14This is hardly a UPS store at all. It’s a franchisee who set up in what is barely space enough for 3 people to fit inside. I waited 20 minutes in line here only for the guy to tell me his computer wasn’t working. All the equipment looks like it needed to be replaced ten years ago. Truly horrible. Next time I’m saving myself the time and frustration and going to a real location.
I can only speak from my experience with this UPS store. I've used this store maybe half a dozen times over the past several years. Contrary to some negative opinions, neither the manager or employees have been rude to me. I find them polite and friendly. Today, I sent a package and without even asking for it, the manager gave me a receipt. That store has done so every time I've used them.
They advertise they know the requirements for passport photos at this location. I paid almost $35 for them to take the photo and ship all my documentation to the department of state. I received a letter back saying the photo did not meet the requirements, and when I brought the letter to the guy in the store he just shrugged at me. I've had to file a chargeback with my credit card company to attempt to get the money back.
Don't even bother with these guys.
This UPS Store is HORRIBLE. I dropped off a dress from rent the runway and I was charged over 500 since the owner did not send it back to them. I dropped off the dress one day after I wore it and it had the UPS prepaid label on it. I will be suing you in Small Claims.
Yikes! I was required to go here to pick up a UPS package. NIGHTMARE avoid this store if you can. Staff is careless and everyone is in line like the DMV
I've had my mailbox for years and Mr. Patel and his staff always bends over backwards to help me with mail forwarding and other services. I definitely recommend his location.
The manager, Mr. Patel, is honest and professional. When we needed an affidavit that nobody had served legal papers at his UPS store, he promptly gave us an affidavit at no charge. As to hard copy receipts, they are not that important in the age of email receipts.
I was just here and these guys were so
kind and helpful as I kind of freaked out over sending my passport. I definitely recommend them.
Wouldn't let me drop off a package because he said the last pick up was at 6pm. I was there at 6: 15 pm and they close at 6: 30 pm.
What I don't understand is why I couldn't just drop off the package and have them hold it overnight for the morning pickup at 8 am? (he even told me the next truck pick up was at 8 am.) Makes no sense!
Now I have to come back again tomorrow. What a waste of time.
I can confirm the store manager (indian guy) seems to hate giving out receipts. No idea why.
A solid UPS store. I had my packages delivered here for about 6 months, and they were always super friendly.
Hate when honest reviews are followed by rave reviews on the same topic.nobody is stupid.how will you fake fix your rating average now?
heres an idea: Get your customer service together Patel.and give the damn receipts with pleasure.whats your problem? People dont write this crap because they have nothing better to do.
Great store, I've kept a box there for years and go in once a week or so. Personally I've never had a problem with Punam and his staff, always feels human in there—competent and friendly.
I stopped by the store at 4: 50pm, they were closing at 5pm. The guy told me he was not going to give me a UPS package receipt, because they already did pick up for the day and it was a liability.
As others here suggest please do be wary of this location! I dropped 2 prepaid shipments off here the other day, and the 1st one shipped out right away but the 2nd one sat around unscanned for 3 days before they felt like actually shipping it (confirmed all this via tracking). On a side note, it appears to be an independently run store, so I suspect there's significantly less oversight on behalf of UPS themselves.
