The Walnut Avenue Cafe reviews
10Absolutely delicious. Very “homey” feel to the food and the restaurant. The staff were very nice and the food came out in no time. It was extremely crowded but worth it because the food was amazing like I said 3 times.
My family and I came here on a busy weekend and only had to wait 20 minutes. The service was quick and attentive and the food was AMAZING! My chorizo, onion and cheese scramble was ridiculously good. My daughters 9grain pancakes topped with blueberry sauce were huge and delicious. An overall great experience and will definitely return on our next visit to Santa Cruz!
I hadn't been there in awhile and as I was downtown yesterday I thought I would treat myself to a good meal. It didn't disappoint. I always enjoyed the scrambles so that's what I ordered. Food was yum yum and service was great. 5 stars!
Excellent food and service. Very busy on the day of our visit (a Sunday). Likely a 15 to 30 minute wait, but we'll worth it. Highly recommend. Our party of 4 all ordered something different, and each of us was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was.
Easily the best brunch place I have ever been to. Their pesto & tomato scramble and their homemade fries are absolutely amazing.
Best breakfast! The service was top notch and the food was delicious
Ate here both days we were in town.
Excellent location for breakfast and the best home fries we have had so far in Santa Cruz! We came when there was only a 15 minute wait, and overall quick and good service:)
We enjoyed our food and experience. Our 4 year old is a picky eater but did great with eggs toast and bacon because we were able to make him an egg sandwich from that. Kids coloring page was fun and a good distraction.
We had the French toast and Belgian waffle with the grilled bananas and walnuts with whipped cream and a side of scrambled eggs. Delicious! We went in the late morning on a Friday and were seated inside right away even though the place looked busy. We were checked on from our waitress and was also asked if we needed more water a couple times. We were attended to very well and were pleased with the food! Will definitely go back next time we visit the area.
Delicious. Fast. Friendly! Really good menu. The interior is very clattery and makes it hard for me to hear conversation. Outside is nice with heat lamps, but still kind of chilly.
