The Wash House, Oakland CA

I am beyond grateful to have found this wash house! My sister and I had about a month's worth of laundry from the house and my disabled client's linens. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner this morning and he has the best spirit. I could tell he is from the South because of his hospitality. The wash house is clean, very easy to use and an overall wonderful experience. From one black business owner to another, I appreciate you and yoir kindness!

Best laundromat experience I've had such far. Mac the owner is so welcoming, you feel right at home. He helped me through out the whole process. Even pushed the cart with my clothes in it to my car. Thank you for bringing this wonderful place into our community. Thank you for showing love and hospitality to your community.

I really like this place. It’s super clean and every is up to date. The prices are reasonable also. The owner of the this laundry Matt is super nice and really helps you out if you are not aware of how to use the equipment. It’s nice to see the owner be personable with their customers. I would definitely recommend to come here.

Always clean, always a washer open, owner is often here and very kind, has an atm and you can pay for the machines with the shine pay app or a laundry card.

This place is super clean, very well cared for, has new machines, and doesn't require you to fuss with change. The owner dropped in while we were waiting and he was a great guy. I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend to come and wash here if you want to sit and relax, its a wonderful place to wash. The owner stopped by and lend us a helping hand, he's so generous and thoughtful. Really really great place!

I had a terrible experience at another laundromat and saw The Wash house just around the block to my apartment so I decided to walk over and try it out! My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. We love that it’s always so clean, there is wifi provided so you’re never bored waiting for your clothing

Really nice, clean place. Limited space to fold and few washers, but enough for 3-4 people to do their laundry at the same time. The owner is very nice and super helpful (helped me take my laundry to my car). Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Met “MAC” the owner, Really Down to earth and friendly! Wash house is very clean and up to date, You don’t have to worry about your quarters getting stuck because he has high tech card machines! This is the best laundromat ever.i’ve only been to two other ones in the neighborhood but my search ends here.mack, the attendant, was super helpful and nice since it was my first time there.super clean and nice.

Very clean and well kept. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is more expensive than other places. In order to run one of the medium machines with hot water, it costs over 6 dollars. The convenience of not having to use coins and also to be able to pay by smartphone is great.

I was driving to another wash house happen to be at the light look up and seen this place. Walk up in here very nice, clean and peaceful, got to meet the owner very nice black man had me on my back laughing i would recommend this place to everyone, enjoy the company, will indeed come back.

This is a great little laundromat. It’s always clean and the owner is super friendly. Cameras are always rolling. Payment system is confusing at first. There is a machine at the back where you get/load a payment card or you can download the app and pay to wash. I prefer to now because I don’t have to worry about getting quarters! For those who complained about the area/location, don’t let irrational white fear rule your world.
