I went to the rooftop bar last night & had two tasty mocktails! The bartenders were both were pleasant (and cute), the view is picturesque & overall, the staff are all really pleasant! The bathroom was clean as well which is always very important! Would recommend this as a date place or to go with a small group of friends.

Andrew (drew) took care of me when I was on a staycation. La is amazing. They hook it up here. There is good energy and they take care of you.

Best service was honestly by the valet. Prompt and so kind, Eddie, Carlos, and James all made sure the car was well taken car of and that I had good local recommendations for my stay.

Honestly, LA is expensive and this is no different but such delicious drinks on the rooftop bar and the upgraded room was swanky AF!
We had the crane asada tacos and they were perfection as was the view.

My new favorite place to stay in WeHo! The whole staff has it down. Special shout-out to Patrick for making our stays so incredible every time we’re in LA.

Spectacular lobby bar. Take a date here. They have a nice screening room. Roof bar has beautiful view. If you're into pot go to the Rainbow across the street!

Be very careful of the hotel charges.

I stayed here in Oct23 and they wrongfully charged bar items that I didn't order and they charged me additional amount more than 1 month later without any support.

I have tried to contact them 3 time without a reply until I initiated chargeback directly withe my bank.

Then they replied me with a promised credit back to my card but never happened.

I have chased them up for 3 more times and they still haven't replied.

Be very careful, otherwise they will abuse your card.

Best Marriott property we've stayed at. The rooftop pool offers stunning views across LA, with amazing sunsets. Rooms are large with nice decor, great in room products too. We were well looked after and all staff were super accommodating to our kiddos. Would definitely stay again!

Overpriced for what it is. The service was great overall at the front desk with the exception of my initial request for a quiet room being ignored. I had requested a quiet room and was placed in a room facing Sunset so I ended up having to move. The rooms I was in were dark and the bathroom in one room smelled strongly of bleach. I also noticed some areas which were not cleaned well. The shower design has an area in the floor where you can see old hair buildup so not so fun taking a hot shower with that. I am sensitive to mold and noticed a mold smell in one of the rooms and hallways. Pillows smelled of mildew and the mattress wasn't comfortable. I also wasn't thrilled with the 35 "resort fee". I won't be back. The stars are exclusively for the front desk customer service.

Let me preface this review by stating that my husband and I have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels in the WORLD!
We are also Titanium Elite members. This hotel is NOT a luxury hotel. The quality does not match the price. We have been staying at the Edition since it opened. The first year, it was great. As your popularity grew, your service did not grow with the demand. We believe the ONLY reason why the hotel remains popular is because of your great location! The last few times we have stayed here.service was NOT only bad.it was insulting to customers. We had complained a couple of times with the last couple of stays.nothing has changed. Whomever the hotel contracted to design the valet parking area should never work in design again! The valet area is so congested.and if one car is a bit out of place, no other car can pass.making for a nightmare backup to Sunset Blvd. We have been late to business meetings as well as dinners due to the valet staff.never enough people working and some of them need an attitude adjustment!
Here is the absolute kicker. 2 phones in the room, only one of them has direct lines to guest services (room service, housekeeping, etc.) So the one that had those lines wasn't working. Twice I had to call the hotel reservations from my cell phone to order room service. Speaking of room service, one morning, I ordered toast for breakfast around 5: 30 AM.fell asleep, woke up at 7: 30.room service had not arrived. I called, they had no record of my order. Ordered again, did not arrive until 8: 30.so I basically waited 3 hours for toast. We are DONE
with this hotel.anyone reading this review. Stay at a real luxury hotel. The Waldorf.they understand customer service!

Very windy night and the two main doors were closed, lots of guess complaining they had no help opening the side doors. I was waiting for my Uber for dinner and as I’m struggling to open the side doors the two security guys by the front just stood there laughing at me. Couple people I spoke to outside said the same thing. In a long standing guest and treated like a joke.
Probably the rudest staff I’ve ever experienced.

Beautiful modern trendy hotel with a gorgeous roof top. The rooms are comfortable but the only downside is a little bit of noise from Sunset Blvd (trade off from central location). Service is polite and helpful. The location is very central in West Hollywood. Worth seeing the sunrise at the complementary coffee and baked delights in the morning.

Not going to slam the hotel as I had a pleasant stay there, but when paying $800 for a room (especially when you live an hour a way) shouldn't have you incur any hidden or ridiculously explained fees. $35 Destination Fee? Charged to my room, but explained horribly when I checked in and out. Basically for free coffee and pastries on the roof regardless if you get it or not. They handed me a white piece of paper saying I get a $35 credit that I can stack with my Amex FHR $100 and use it at the restaurant daily, however it was a wash with the silly fee. $800+ for a standard room, $35 fee, $60 for parking. I will be staying elsewhere when LA next.

An amazing hotel in every way. The signature scent is fantastic, the staff is kind and kept the rooftop bar open late for our VIP gathering, and the front desk staff even stored the luggage for our visitors who came to meet us but were not staying at the location. We will absolutely be back.

The rooms are wonderful, but the lighting inside them is extremely poor and has a yellowish tint, making it real challenging to do makeup. The location is fantastic and safe, but the almost hidden destination fee of $39 seems ridiculous. It's super frustrating that hotel chains are implementing destination fees in places like LA, which I consider, not a destination. Additionally, the Edition brand doesn't recognize Marriott status, and there's no complimentary breakfast provided. When you're paying over $800 per night for a room, you expect all amenities to be included.

We have had a fabulous time at The West Hollywood Edition. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the suite we had was very roomy and clean. The location was great for us and overall we had a lovely stay and will definately return again soon.

My recent stay at The West Hollywood EDITION left me profoundly disappointed, and I feel compelled to make it clear that this type of service is entirely unacceptable, particularly from an establishment that claims to be a "5 Star" hotel.

Having traveled and stayed in numerous 5-star hotels worldwide, I can confidently say that my experience here was the worst I've ever encountered. The front desk staff's behavior was far from the courteous and professional service one expects from a top-tier hotel. Their blatant indifference and audible sighs during our interactions were wholly unwelcome. One incident in particular, I had called the front desk politely inquiring about whether they could talk to Valet about charging my Tesla. Mid-Sentence the man on the other line lets out the biggest sigh. I could not believe what I was hearing- I didn’t realize that I was being such a burden.

What also added to my dismay was the state of the housekeeping service. Two of the three towels provided were of such poor quality that I can hardly believe they were intended for guest use. One was marred by a conspicuous wheel skid mark, an appalling oversight. The second towel was so worn out that it resembled something you'd find at a budget motel rather than in a luxury hotel. There was also a candy wrapper of some sort that was tucked into my newly made bed as well.

In light of my extensive experience with 5-star hotels, I have higher expectations when I choose to stay in such establishments. The West Hollywood EDITION failed to meet even the most fundamental standards of service and quality.

I did talk to the staff about these issues and was promised twice that the manager would contact me and address the issues. The first promise was made while I staying at the hotel- no one contacted me. The second promise was made as I was checking out- it has been 2, going on 3 days. Nothing.

I’d like to state for the record that charges for room service and valet were cleared as a direct response, but that is not sufficient enough.

I felt so unwelcome and disrespected it’s truly unacceptable.
I’ll never stay at The West Hollywood EDITION.

If you’re the manager and you’re reading this now…

I’m still waiting on that call.

My stay at the Edition Hotel proved to be a deeply unsatisfactory experience, characterized by a series of unfortunate incidents. During the night, at 3 a.m, our rest was persistently disturbed by the audible sounds of sexual activities emanating from neighboring rooms. This unwelcome disruption continued when, at 7 a.m, the tranquil morning was shattered by the abrupt intrusion of loud music.

Regrettably, the disarray extended to the behavior of the hotel staff, who engaged in noisy disputes within the hallways, creating an atmosphere that was far from conducive to a pleasant stay. Without exaggeration, this was the most subpar hotel experience I have ever encountered.

Seeking resolution, we approached the reception the following morning, receiving assurances that the manager would be in touch. These assurances, however, went unfulfilled as we never received any communication. Our subsequent attempts to contact the establishment via email were met with an ominous silence.

Considering the substantial financial outlay for our stay, the level of disregard for guest comfort and satisfaction exhibited at the Edition Hotel is nothing short of egregious. In stark contrast to the remarkable quality of other Edition Hotels I have frequented, this particular establishment can only be deemed a severe disappointment.

Stylish hotel. Not a bad experience, but it’s definitely not a great experience! My experience can be categorized below -

Room - Cozy and comfortable. No noisy from air conditioning, room temperature was good during my stay. Strong enough water pressure and in-room amenities are nice. Had a nice sleep

Hotel - I like their pool on the roof. Nice view and laid. Gym is well equipped. Staging throughout the hotel is less-is-more design, not exaggerating!

Service - Basic, just you ask and they answer. Typical America service!

Others - Valet parking only. $65 per night.
