The Westgate Room Restaurant, San Diego CA

I had the granola with almond milk (ordered it for breakfast from the pool) and it was delicious! The service was quick and great. I’m leaving a bad review because this week they decided to remove all vegan items (which were already very few) from their breakfast menu. Not sure what drove this decision, but I think it’s good for hotels to have at least a few vegan options for their vegan clients. I don’t recommend this place to vegans for breakfast.

Very chic upscale restaurant with fresh table flowers and actual silverware. The brunch wasn’t to expensive either. Expect around 25 dollars a plate. It might feel uncomfortable to ware anything less than dinner attire even to know it’s in a hotel. Actually the second you walk into the hotel you might feel under dressed. Grab a bottle of wine and enjoy.

We went to the Westgate hotel for mother's day brunch and we were not disappointed. They have American dishes, among other dishes, all carefully crafted. I am eager to share this review because, pre-COVID, the Westgate had a mother's day buffet brunch. This buffet was one of the best buffets our family has ever enjoyed. It had a wide variety of foods, traditional and non-traditional breakfast foods, with many stations. The decor is classical European and the food was carefully arranged. This brunch we had to order a la carte and the food was still delicious- we left happy. Westgate, please bring back the buffet (when it is safe).

Smoked brisket is my absolute favourite. They prepared it well, it's definitely done by an experienced chef. Tasty and delicious!

A preferred place for quality brunch. Service is prompt even when they are busy. Nothing but pleasant experiences here.

At the moment you step in this restaurant they give you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a nice place to go out with your friends or with your date.very good cuisine, professional chief cook and stuff, honest cost and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

Le Fontainebleau is a dining room inside The Westgate Hotel that has been hosting an award-winning Sunday brunch for over 40 years. In a European-inspired atmosphere, guests are treated to an impressive buffet featuring an array of delicious options. Appetizers, salads, seafood, and sushi are abundant; plus there is a carving station featuring many succulent types of meat, a made-to-order omelette station, and several tantalising desserts.

One of my preferred locations for brunch. Nice place to think about business. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.

Food was good not exceptional. Service was great, Adrianne our server was excellent and super attentive. However, the highlight of our brunch was Alex the bartender. His personal stories were awesome and his friendly demenaor made us want to return.

This place is excellent and roomy, the meals was delicious and the prices were very affordable.quickly, effective service and very affable waiters. Recommended.

Went here for Christmas buffet. It is a spectacularly beautiful place. The food was great, especially the oysters, sushi and desserts. The lamb cheeks were probably the most delicious meat I've ever eaten.

The beet salad was great. Unfortunately it was labeled as beat salad. Sigh. Still, tasted great!

Everything in the buffet was replenished promptly. Clearly dirty plates were not cleared from my table in a prompt manner. Really!
