I truly had the BEST experience at The White Dress all thanks to Brittney June! Brittney understood exactly how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day and the first dress she picked for me to try on.ended up being the dress I said YES too! She made me feel so comfortable during my appointment and also made my family members I brought with feel included. I highly recommend coming to The White Dress if you're looking for your wedding dress or just have questions about designers/gowns in general! It was the most welcoming and positive experience - thank you Brittney!

While the initial experience was wonderful and the consultant went above and beyond, as soon as you buy the dress, the tone of the shop changes.

As soon as my dress was available, I made a tailoring appointment. This was a week ahead and I was assured that the seamstress has plenty of time and space and had a 2pm appointment.

The day of, they were asking for me to come in later. While I am usually onboard with things happening, I am close to my wedding date and had asked several times during my initial consultation that my timeline (1.5 months) was doable and was reassured it was only to see it was only for a sale.

I got 3 different reasons as to why the seamstress was going to be late. And then she suddenly could make it but it would cut into my consultation time.

This is unprofessional and a lack of time management. I understand things come up, but even the shop said that it was because the seamstress had a time conflict with her independent business.

When bringing up the concern, the staff were unapologetic and snobby.

Will not be recommending this business,

I bought my dress here. Unbelievably gorgeous. I remember driving down PCH in the car with my mom as a little girl looking out the window to the White Dress thinking “one day I’ll get my dress there. ” God totally made that happen!

I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing my friend's absolute nightmare experience. I cannot express how disgusted I am with the level of service she received, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts so that others can avoid the same mistake.
First of all, the staff at this establishment was incredibly unprofessional and uncaring. They clearly mis-measured my friend for her couture dress, making the dress at least 2” too tight on her rib cage. When they couldn’t zip my friend up, they pretended nothing was wrong and it’ll be an easy fix. No apologies and quoted $600-$1700 for tailoring, ON THEIR MISTAKE.

When my friend took her dress to a trusted tailor, they said the only way to fix the dress would be to completely re-design the back because of the corset top with lots of embellishments. So essentially, the employees at The White Dress don’t know what they’re talking about, or completely lied.

I would strongly advise anyone looking for wedding dress alterations to steer clear. They clearly have no regard for their customers, and I would hate for anyone else to go through the same kind of disappointment and frustration that my friend did. Stay away!

Love this place! Kylette (stylist) was amazing! I had a very vague idea of what I wanted but she knew exactly what dresses to pull. Her eye for style and fit was on point! I had a great customer service experience and really recommend this store!

I am absolutely livid about the terrible experience I had here when I went to pick up my dress, that was supposed to be couture and promised to “fit like a glove. ” It is utterly unacceptable that they inaccurately measured my size, causing my dress to be too tight at my fitting. This is a basic requirement for any dress shop and they should have taken extra care to ensure that your dress fit you perfectly for your special day. I know for a fact I did not gain any weight, if anything I’ve lost 1-2lbs. I took care to weight myself when I was measured for my dress and to maintain that weight. In addition, the part that was tight was at my rib-cage, and by at least 2”, so they absolutely mis-measured me.

To make matters worse, there was no apology, they acted like nothing was wrong. This is completely outrageous! It is completely unreasonable for me to pay for a couture dress but now have to take care of my own alterations, especially considering the shop's own mistake. On top of that they acted like it’s an easy fix when none of the workers are an actual seamstress, and when I took it to my tailor, they said that it was an extremely difficult thing to fix because the dress has a corset and adorned with beads. They have to completely re-design the back to fix the problem.

The fact that the shop failed to take responsibility for their mistake and for their own shortcomings is simply unacceptable. This is a special day that you have been looking forward to for months, if not years, and the dress shop has completely ruined it.

I would not recommend this dress shop to anyone. Their lack of attention to detail and customer service is beyond disappointing. Save yourself the time, money, and heartache and go somewhere else for your wedding dress.
