I knew Tehea from life in Oakland. I moved to NY for school and as you might imagine…I had some challenges. Tehea was able to assess me from across the country through traditional TCM methods and prescribe herbs that brought me out of the deepest depression I had felt in my life. "I have found such relief from Dr. Robie’s treatments. I was having a difficult time breathing fully and as a result, was getting easily winded and exhausted. I couldn’t hide the weakness in my voice. I started using an inhaler frequently with minimal results. I had reached the point of considering steroids for my condition. This was not a good option – I was already having difficulty moving much. Adding a steroid is a perfect recipe for gaining a ton of weight! I went about my health and healing a BETTER way. Let me just begin by saying that Dr. Tehea Robie is extremely knowledgeable, kind, skilled, and professional. This was my first time getting acupuncture, and I was not sure what to expect. She took her time and answered all my questions during the assessment. Dr. Robie was very attentive in listening to me and assessing my body’s condition. I felt at ease about the process after our discussion. She was calming, gentle, and did an excellent job of checking in with me during the application of the techniques for the session.
