Therapy With Naj Alikhan, LMFT reviews
3 It was difficult to find someone who understood my cultural background and the pressures of running my own company. It was such a relief to find someone who could do both.
Naj helped me navigate difficult interpersonal conversations with employees and loved ones while focusing on self care and sustainable work-life balance tools.
Naj is an extremely professional and communicative therapist, with a talent for empathetically listening to and validating your struggles. His trauma-informed approach pushed me to give myself the space to grow as a human being, and I am endlessly grateful for his guidance and expertise. If you are struggling with your mental health, please don't hesitate to reach out to him.
I could not recommend Naj highly enough. Naj's understanding of the stresses, pressures, and mental health challenges facing those who work in technology and the startup space are unparalleled because he is one of the most relatable people I've ever met. He helped me to see my fullest potential, guided my whole family through a very dark period, and together we were able to identify and aptly address unhealthy habits and behaviors. Since beginning therapy with Naj in the early summer of 2020, I have learned to set effective boundaries with family/friends/work, left a toxic relationship, left a horrible job to start my own business, met the love of my life, quit vaping (I was a chain vaper), and have enjoyed the most stable family relationships of any point in my life. I believe a great indicator of a therapist's quality is if the frequency of your sessions can be reduced over time. I started with sessions 1x/week and now I am on a bi-monthly schedule.
