Please reconsider using Thompson Rose Chapel for your family members and friends. September 16,2022, my sisters and I met with Ms. Ginger Brown to start the disposition of our beloved Mother. We attempted several times between September 17,2022, through November 9,2022 to make contact with Ms. Brown for an update as to the status of our Mother and her whereabouts and she failed to return any phone calls. Another call was made to Ms. Brown on November 10,2022, and she stated that she knew we had a lot of questions, and that she expected to have our Mother returned to us by November 16,2022 or no later than November 18,2022. Those dates came and went and once again Ms. Brown did not reach out to us with any explanation. On November 28,2022, Ms. Brown finally contacted my sister to set up a date to meet and view our mother’s remains after 2 ½ months of decomposition. Ms. Brown scheduled us to meet on December 2,2022, at 10: 00 a.m. We arrived at approximately 9: 50 only to find that Ms. Brown was not there. We were told that Ms. Brown was called, and she would arrive within the hour. We left the facility and returned only to receive an explanation from Ms. Brown of “sorry for the tardiness. ” Ms. Brown never apologized for her lack of professionalism, communication, or accountability in providing funeral services, or timeline of process…she blamed everyone from the doctors to her staff for the negligence. Ms. Brown’s negligence has caused me and my sister’s emotional distress, aggravation, sleepless nights, a delay in reconciling our mother’s affairs, and the horror of having to identify our mother in the state of decomposition…Ms. Brown took away our final peaceful image of our mother! We finally laid our beloved Mom to rest on December 21,2022.
