Timeless Coffee, Berkeley CA

I've been here about 3 times now and without fail the staff is belittling and snarky. I'm a barista myself. Maybe try treating people with kindness? It will get you much farther in life.
Also the espresso drinks are rather plain and lacking in flavor.not the best oatmilk choice also- it drowns out the coffee.
Tried the peanut butter cup: really hard shell that nearly chipped my tooth. Chocolate is sweet and over roasted.
Overall, Timeless Coffee looks beautiful but always disappoints. The staff needs an attitude change.

Very cute spot with delicious coffee and a super wide variety of pastries which are ALL VEGAN! Except you would never be able to tell. Plus they have savory and sweet options for pastries, and several flavors of donuts and cookies. The vibe was nice but I wish there were more outlets so I could go to do work/study.

I was so freaked out when we first walked in because I couldn't find the word "vegan" displayed anywhere and I saw all these amazing looking pastries and figured we had made a mistake and it wasn't a place we could eat. We even walked back out before going back in and bravely asking if they were a vegan establishment to which the cashier said they were! I was so amazed! And to see them super busy and was such a delight. Everything we ate was delicious and their coffee was fantastic!

Amazing pastries and snacks which are surprisingly affordable! We especially like the pizza rolls, pizza pastries and frittata, as well as the passionfruit donut and pumpkin cinnamon roll. The bear claw was a bit too dry for me. The croissant looks good too, very flakey, but are quite expensive in my opinion. The drinks are tasty and the staff is friendly. Recommend!

Well we got some ice lattes they're pretty cool tasted good atmosphere was chilled so it was good had a good time

This was my first time trying their Berkeley location, and now after having great experiences at three seperate locations I can confidently say that Timeless is the best vegan bakery in the Bay Area! Stock at this location is even better than the others.

There were sandwiches here that I hadn't seen before, using Koji Meats which is a relatively new & local plant based meat line using a Japanese fungus called koji to create delicious deli meats.

Also I came in more toward the end of the day and they still had the pumpkin pie which usually sells out in the morning on Webster and Piedmont. The pumpkin pie was perfect with a light flaky crust and creamy pumpkin filling. Not too sweet, just right!

For the bad: they cover electric outlets so you can't charge a phone or plug in a laptop to work there. I get that they don't want people lingering, but it makes the environment unfriendly. Instead they should set a max amount of time people can use outlets if its really such a worry, but don't take them away! I almost got stranded after I finished up here because I couldn't get directions home with a dead phone. Very annoying for a cafe to do that

Serves 3rd wave espresso drinks, but no longer offers regular milk. If you’re going to virtue-signal, do the rest of us a favor and put a clear sign up at the door so we don’t have to wait in line to then be disappointed at the cash register

Nice coffee shop, quick turnaround on your order. Some appliances and sweets offered as well. Also a vegan shop if i am not mistaken.

If you like specialty / 3rd wave shops like Blue Bottle or Highwire this place is not for you. This place is akin to Peets: they roast their beans dark and anything from drip to espresso has traditional chocolate, bitter and smokey notes. Not bad if that's what you like but certainly not great by modern standards.

They are popular for their vegan pastries but I think they are a bit on the sweet side.

Peanut Butter Dream is Wayyyyy too dry. This is not the dream that I dreamt….

Banana cream pie is sour and heavy, not my liking. Crust is also dry. We have been spoiled by many wonderful bakeries around, Fournée Bakery and Crixa Cakes.etc. They are very close by. All in all, Timeless Coffee is not a place to get pastries. However the hot latte was great!

One of the best. Delicious, all variety breakfast and lunch foods with good coffee and vibes. Really like what they are up to! Nice service too.

Worst cafe i’ve ever been to, the coffee just tastes like pure plastic and nothing about it is tasteful. I told the baristas that I really didn’t like the coffee and if I Could have another one and they were like sure but they’d have to charge me again. I don’t understand, why should I pay twice for bad coffee?
Most cafes would try to satisfy the customer and offer another drink and please the customer but sadly with this one that wasn’t the case

I cannot recommend the bear claw enough. Their cheesecake is quite good, and their breakfast roll is okay.

Lots of great vegan pastries, although most are very sweet. I usually go for the savory treats. I'll go more often when they focus as much on health as they do on taste.

Everything here is VEGAN and tastes amazing! They have breakfast burritos, frittatas, and I had the sausage empanada. In addition to cakes, pies, and cookies, they have scones, donuts, cinnamon rolls, croissants, and so much more. Also, one of the best Americanos I’ve had in a while—my gauge of a good roast and barista. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well. The inside isn’t very big, but there is room to chill and savor your goodies.
I only wish they had mugs and plates; personally, I prefer that to paper cups and boxes for indoor eating.
I’m so happy I found this place! You guys rock!
