Our family was unfortunate to have Dr Peppers on call when he went to the hospital with a burst fracture from a fall. I urged my mother to seek another surgeon, but she did not. Our family calls him Dr. Flip Flops because on rounds IN THE HOSPITAL, that's what he was wearing. He NEVER physically touched my father after the surgery, as he then got MRSA with a second surgery, this MD was flippant and uncaring. I would NEVER choose an MD with less than a 4 star rating, and this one deserves much less than what he does have. Choose your MD wisely, get 2nd opinions and if there is something you don't like.walk away.
