A Tisane Boba Delight in San Jose, CA!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tisane Boba Drinks in San Jose, CA, and I can't stop raving about it! I ordered the #6 with zero sugar, and it was absolutely fantastic. As someone who needs to be mindful of sugar intake due to health reasons, I was thrilled to find a delicious and diabetes-friendly option that didn't compromise on flavor.

The service at Tisane Boba Drinks was exceptional, especially considering how crowded the place was. After placing our order, it arrived within seconds, which was incredibly impressive, especially for a party of 4 people. The efficiency and attentiveness of the staff made the experience even more enjoyable.

I can't recommend Tisane Boba Drinks enough for anyone looking for a refreshing, diabetes-friendly beverage in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a boba enthusiast or just looking for a great place to enjoy a drink with friends, Tisane Boba Drinks is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be returning to try more of their delightful offerings!

One of the best boba places in the Bay! My fav is the Green Panda, I usually never see any pandan drinks so it’s definitely one of a kind:)
The other drinks I’ve tried (Blush, Graham Brûlée) are yummy too, and the vibes of the shop itself are fun!

Not gonna lie: my kids and wife frequent this boba place more than any other in this area of San Jose, CA. I guess it's because they have pretty creative drinks. The decor is hardcore Gen Z or Gen Alpha, but least it makes a statement. If you're a boba fiend, you probably know this place. If you're new to the area and looking for boba recommendations, you can put this in your top 5.

Easily the best bubble tea in the South Bay. Tried them over a dozen times with different drinks each time and only disliked it once (went a minute before closing that time, so no blame)
Atmosphere is a bit strange though. Prices are unbeatable!

$8.40 for a panda drink with extra crystal boba? ! Seriously, inflation had gone mad or it was just…? ! I don’t know how they calculated since my husband went in to order and didn’t get the receipt. I ordered the same drink a few weeks ago, it was $6.90 online then, and still shows $6.90 online now. They may have charged my husband an extra $1.50 “service charge” like the other review said. He also gave $1 tip, that drink ended up to be $9.40:) (

Great place for boba drinks, but music was too loud took my family and kids to this place, and we could not stay due to the lack of seats, and the music was not appropriate. Overall, it's a good place for your favorite boba drinks.

UPDATE: Although I was quite disappointed by my visit to Tisane in April, I revisited Tisane on 05 May because I was craving Golden and Totaro. I usually order Totaro with 25% sweetness since it is a very sweet beverage overall, so I decided to try ordering Golden but with 50% sweetness, as Golden is also a sweet beverage, but my Golden beverage tasted very bitter like it had no brown sugar. Afterwards, I requested to add more sweetness to the Golden I was given, and it tasted somewhat better, but it still lacked the signature brown sugar taste. It was the first time I had a different experience with Golden. I did not expect the taste to change very much because whenever I request 25% sweetness for my Totaro, it still maintains the same flavor but with a more tolerable sweetness. On the other hand, the Golden that was prepared for me lacked its brown sugar sweetness completely. I recommend not changing the sweetness with Golden if you want to maintain the same flavor.

When I visited Tisane 08 April, I did not have the best experience. I wanted to try a different beverage on this visit, so I asked if I could request for a different beverage in case I did not like my first order, and the cashier was reluctant to agree. She asked someone else about my question and then told me that an exception would be made that time but not to make that request in the future. I no longer feel comfortable venturing to try different beverages on the menu. I am not sure why there was no assurance of satisfaction during that visit. I have a changed impression of Tisane's customer service and have lowered my rating to four (4) stars. If you already know what you like, stick with it, or else you may have an unwelcoming experience like me when requesting for a different beverage. If not, I would still recommend Golden or Totaro. Perhaps the management has changed. Regardless, I hope that Tisane sees my updated review and reconsiders providing a satisfaction guarantee. I still rate Tisane four stars because I continue to enjoy the taste of my favorite beverages which are unique to Tisane, and the menu prices are fair relative to other tea shops, but the customer service needs improvement.

In March 2022, Tisane increased its average beverage price to $5.75.

As of February 2022, most beverages on the menu now cost $5.50. While that price is not the most expensive price for tea, it is worth acknowledging. Customer service continues to be outstanding. On one trip, I ordered a drink with 25% sweetness, but when I received it, it tasted too sweet. When I told Tisane about it, I was immediately prepared another drink with no hesitation, and I was even allowed to keep the the original drink. I have also updated my favorite beverages to be Golden and Totaro.

Tisane offers a variety of tea at reasonable prices. As of October 2020, all of its beverages cost $4.95 (before tax) for about twenty ounces of tea (I do not know the exact volume of Tisane's cups), which is competitive value against most tea shops. Golden is a great choice for anyone who prefers the "typical" milk tea, but from what I have tried, my personal favorite teas are Blush; Totaro (taro milk tea) ; and Peach, Please. I also appreciate how some of the teas already come with add-ons, which means that there is no additional charge for the drinks that already have add-ons included. Extra add-ons (those not already included with a menu drink) cost $0.50 more each, whereas some competitors will charge more for any add-ons at all. With regards to customer service, I have never experienced any problems with Tisane's employees. Sometimes, the wait time for an order can take a little while, but overall, the wait time has never been excessive during my trips to Tisane. Tisane also offers a rewards program so that purchases made over time can accumulate towards future rewards, unlike many tea places.

This is a great hang out, drink your boba, enjoy the vibes atmosphere. The boba is tasty, service is quick via kiosk or staff. Music is
If you don't like loud and lounge like atmosphere, this isn't the place for you.
Definitely coming back for more boba!

My son and I came here to try it out for the first time. The young girl at the register was nice and pleasant. My annoyance came from the girl that called our name for the drinks. She just slammed our drinks on the counter and walked away without a word. No ‘Thank you’ or anything. No eye contact. No customer service skills whatsoever. You work in an industry that requires that yet you have none. The owner needs to speak with all staff members and let them know that a simple eye contact and ‘Thank You’ goes a long way in bringing back clientele. Needless to say my family and I will not be returning and I will be sure to let my friends know not to go here.

Very bad customer service and staffs and super slow. Not helping you and ignored. They didn’t know which one came first. Just doing random and donot which one arrives in the store. Just laughing and not taking seriously.

Boba shop with iPad ordering system. They have a big boba menu but their boba is very sweet and syrupy. If you like boba drinks tasting more like milk and sugar this place is for you. Personally when I order a matcha latte I want to taste the matcha more than milk and sugar.

The taro milk tea with 25% sugar and honey boba is my favorite. It’s lightly caffeinated and that’s the only downside.

Non-caffeinated options are few and not as good as the ones with caffeine.

I would describe them much more than a boba shop, their ambience was good and more suitable if you have a larger group (around 7 to 10) folks.
Their speciality tea’s are good, and fairly priced (I am suggesting that it’s fair and not cheap, as it’s a tad bit on the expensive side if you push on that)
I tried taro boba and I love it and they have same taste from a long time.

Ambience 5/5
Taste 5/5
Cost 4/5
