T.J. Maxx, Santee CA

I went to return a gift, specifically a ring which was in perfect condition and its corresponding receipt. It is missing half of the paper that they put on it. Even so, it is not an excuse to be unfriendly and haughty with a customer. The woman who attended me (an unfriendly blonde) referred to me in a very rude and unkind tone. As if she was doing me a favor. Why aren't there more customer-friendly staff? Is it the customer's obligation to know that the jewelry is returned in "jewels"? Or is it not better to say it in a cordial and friendly tone? Very bad treatment received. That person makes me feel bad. Please send the staff to take some customer service class. Very disappointed.

Store manager refused to discount for 1 glass flute asking price for 2 knowing 1 glass was broken. Bad judgement.
Obviously something upper management and common sense should have prevailed but second incident where customer service and PR need work. Yelp negative.

I love this store. I can always find what I am looking for. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is neat. Prices are reasonable.

You find great stuff in this store but MARCIA an old lady, "supervisor" is extremely rude with customers for not reason.

Not a fan. I find fewer things here than at Ross and Marshalls. It seems to be more aimed at women, while the others have more for men and kids.

I loved this store. And the people that work there, are helpful and friendly. The lady that was at the cash register was what a business should strive for in an employee.
She vocalized each purchase and cost. She wrapped all items that were glass. And made sure that they wouldn't break.
Yes, I will be back. And thanks for the good service.

Very low variety of men's clothes. Especially Big & Tall men's clothes are NON-EXISTENT

I don’t like the why they be following you inside the store there not even discreet about it its happend to me 3 /4 times in the last month I shop a lot there but there times when I go in pjs I belive me not every one is there to steal everyone should be treated respect it doesn’t matter how you look because at the end that person you my be following is a real customer and maybe the one your not following is the one that will surprise you walking out the store with hundred of dolor merchandise.

I love this location because of one person in particular, ASHLEY. One helpful, kind, wonderful spirit. And EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL. Goddess. I love her green hair and personality. It's a shame I'm married already. I would love to have her as my wife. Damnit

Love TJ Max, Marshall's, such bargains and you never know what special thing you will find.

Great store, very clean and well organized, easy access from main street, plenty of parking.

Nice workers with good customer service. Just seems like sometimes they are running low on inventory.

This store was picked over. The shoes were from the ugly shoe fairy. I was a bit shocked when I noticed their plus size clothes occupied about 36 inches on a clothing rack. That's it! The jewelry department was nice. They had a good amount of food stuff for the holidays. Other than that I wouldn't write home about the store. TJ Max Santee location.
