T.J. Maxx, San Diego CA

TJ MAXX was my favorite store up until last week. Did my usual shopping, spent $172 on clothes for my son, returned 3 shirts the next day. He is growing too fast. One of the shirts had the manufacture tag but no TJ MAXX tag was attached. Upon purchasing this shirt, the TJ MAXX in Mission Valley just put some number for the purchase, no article description (blank) and $12.99. I am easy going so I was agreeable. Upon returning the shirt, I was told they would not accept the shirt due to no TJ MAXX tag- “ go back to the TJ MAXX in MV” ($10 in gas to get my money back!? !?). At the end they gave me $9.99!? !? !? I spend thousands of dollars at TJ MAXX and they’re arguing with me for $12.99!? Goodbye TJ MAXX. VERY DISAPPOINTING

This Tj Maxx is going downhill. Messy dress section and just not as nice as the lower end Marshalls.

Manager seemed lackadaisical too.there was a trash can with a big ding in the front and they said they 'can't take any discount off for that'. Why would anyone pay full price for the dinged up one when they can get a perfect one for full price?

Thank goodness for the nice jewelry service or there would be no reason to go to this location.

Found some ok things and I don't like salespeople bugging me so that was great. I didn't have any questions so I was happy!

OMG, I just went to browse and ended up purchasing many great finds at such reasonable prices. There is such a wide variety of items to choose from. I was like a kid in a candy shop at T. J. Max. If you haven't experienced shopping there, I suggest you do.

I went to look for a dress for New Year’s Eve and found the perfect one for a very low price. Great place and very clean

I can never say enough about this stor I used to work there and out of all the jobs I've had this by far has been my favoright they have a variety of everything and their prices are very affordable And the staff thing is very helpful I go to TJ Maxx very often

Didn't have much for the men's selection so only four stars. The nice lady who greeted me at the front door deserves a 100 stars with her cheerful self!

Wide variety of things, but a little too crowded in the store. The staff are very kind and helpful, and after a day of running errands, I felt a bit more at ease when we walked in and saw them sanitizing every cart, definitely helped my anxiety and made me feel safer

I love shopping here. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Great selection of clothes and housewares. I shop here twice a week at least. Fun place!

Great experience, carts are clean, front door staff tracking folks are wearing mask, how many entrants, along with hand sanitizers available. Store is stocked with enough items to keep you intrigued

I didn't like it simply because their Men's (clothes) section is super tiny. Probably like 1/8th of Ross's men's wear. I drove 15 mins to get here only to leave with in two mins.

Store hours need to be updated Online it says they close at 11pm when it actually close at 9 pm

Ok to go there, but selection is quite limited. They never have men's shoes:/ clean and friendly though.
