Big one and very clean. Lots of customers waited in a Long row to the cashiers. Right now they‘re hiring, think then nicht be all cashiers in work and a Bit quicker work.

But good working and friendly staff

(This was my first time at this TJ Maxx location in Santa Clara in a long time. I’ve only been here once before years back and I’m sure my experience was better then.)

I’ve worked retail before and I definitely know that management is in charge of having smooth coverage and steady schedules for employees. It is so obvious that they DO NOT do a good job on their schedule, affecting store needs and client’s shopping experience. This particular location had ~ 30 people in line for more than half an hour. There are many registers open and at one point had only 2 or 3 employees at the front. Cashiers would keep ringing for help on the intercom maybe 7-8 times during my shopping time.

It wasn’t until towards the end of my transaction that more employees came to the front. I believe that they were on the floor because I remember seeing them in the aisles with us the times the cashiers were calling for backup. Not sure if those were the managers. If they were, they need to support their team or not be managers at all.

Although I got the items I needed, the wait time was way too long for that many customers: (Many people in line were complaining but they decided to continue waiting hoping someone would relieve/ support the small amount of cashiers at front. The lady at the front who helped me was very nice and friendly. I helped make the wait time go faster by taking my hangers off for her and bagging my own bags.

Overall, management needs to step up.

Very slow check out. Almost fell asleep waiting. Mostly organized in store display. Merchandise are a mix bag of quality and junk. Slightly worse than Marshall's. Polite staff. Overall it was a good experience.

Amazing collection for home goods with such great price. It's a place to turn a house into a home with their decor!

Very good collection. I love nail paints they offered a very good collection.
1 piece dresses for nice brands were available. Women wear good options available.
The men's wear collection was limited.

It takes forever for the check out. The cashiers are VERY VERY SLOW even on a weekday non peak hours.

It's been 3 years since I've shopped at this location. I was shocked to see the condition of the store.clothes in every aisle off the hangers and on the floor. Not just one item but several in every aisle. Store very messy, and the line was so long it must have been 40 people in line before one of the cashiers asked for all available cashiers to their register.

Very poor management, 6 registers are open with only 2 cashiers. The purchase line is over 30 customers. Always crowded and no help insight!

Cashier's slow to open up more registrar's when line was very long low selections of varied areas been there many times this is the first I left disappointed

This store has a very nice collection of stuff and I really enjoy shopping there, BUT the enjoyment wouldn’t last much! The check out is not easy at all and I usually spend more time in check out line rather than the store.

From food to clothes to kitchen items. But badic kitchen needs like spoon or ladles not there.

On the outset, it seems like a store with a large collection of items from both TJmaxx n home goods. Unfortunately, their collection is slightly underwhelming especially on the home decor side. Clothes and other accessories were plenty available
