Awesome place for Tortas! The best place is San Diego County hands down! I true gem is the South Bay!

Don't pass up this place! It's a small place tucked away in the corner of a sleepy strip mall.but the adobada torta! Chefs kiss!
I bring all my friends and coworkers here and every one is hooked! I've had other tortas but adobada tops them all! The only place i'll order a torta these days and it even comes with a bag of carrots and jalapeños.

I am originally from TJ and the truth is that it is very similar to the tacos there, in fact they can compete with several taquerias in Tijuana and the truth is that they are winning, I only ordered takeout and the truth is that I am very satisfied with the service, handmade tortillas and the roast 10/9

Finally we found #OurGoTo taco place in #SunnySD.tacos are come here you won't be disappointed. Staff is Super Friendly.

Everything I tried was worth every penny and seeing it was my first to San Diego I'm surely going to be back. I highly recommend this place. Had the burrito, so much flavor

I am originally from Tijuana and I was able to find similarities in the Tijuana-style tortas, however, the sauce lacks flavor, the size of the torta for the price is not in tune, in my opinion it is quite expensive for the size, I did not like the fee either.almost 1dllr for using the card seems abusive to me. I can't give more than 2 stars because the experience really wasn't what I expected.

The closest thing to Tijuana tacos. They are souuuuuupeer reported meat and guacamole from vdd, I've tried almost everything and everything 1000-10 I love going to eat whenever I can ahhh and they have Mexican glass Coca-Cola. The place is nice

Tj Tacos y Tortas is one of the best places I have seen in San Diego County, very good service and best of all, everything is healthy.

I tried the carne asada torta, it was good and well priced. The staff was friendly and recommended what I chose to eat

Ate my favourite vegetarian taco in SD here (aside from Lola 55). More of a pop and mom place in a strip mall where one might grab something quickly. The vegetarian option was unique and spiced amazingly. The picture attached isn't great and shows the fish taco: the veggie one contains roasted veggies.

Loved it great food had two tj style tortas and nachos with asada bomb food loved how fresh and the portions where great

I had carnitas and carne asada tacos. They were amazing! The woman behind the counter was super sweet and friendly. Great little taco joint.

We absolutely loved the tacos! The woman at the cash register was so friendly and added to our pleasant experience. We wish we lived closer and would try everything on the menu! We had the carnitas and carne asada tacos and they were perfect! 10/10!

Just in the imperial beach area for a couple weeks traveling. Been to this place 2 times in the past 3 days. So far I had the carnitas torta (Togo). Which made me want to come back because it was so good I was mad after I took the last bite I didn't have anymore. 2nd visit I got the carne asada quesadilla and 2 carnitas tacos. Which I devoured all of it at the restaurant. I don't know how this place compares to the other restaurants in the area. But I will be coming back again tomorow and trying something else.

First time going there, they were getting ready to close, takeout only, but when I said it was our first time, the allowed in a to sit and eat. Pleasant environment

Food was ok. Customer service was so terrible, btw I you want more salsa you have to eat there. Or pay 1.50 for each tiny cup of salsa. Not because of the salsa but because the little cups cost them 1.50 each. I asked her ok let me put on my burrito and not get charged for the cups and she said if u do that u have to eat here? Would not go back and again the food wasn't that good
