Tlaxcalli House reviews
12This place is truly authentic, the goat birrial is truly like atleast my grandpa made back in Mexico. The Chile Rojo with the HAND MADE TORTILLAS! BRU!
These are the ABSOLUTE BEST $&@"? ! Tacos I've ever eaten! Hands down the service is insane, atmosphere is chill, I'll be a customer for life! DELICIOUS! !
Friendly atmosphere! Great entertainment. The owner always offers chips and salsa as I wait for my order. Food is absolutely amazing! You definitely have to try this mexican restaurant. So far, they are the best in Granada Hills.
Absolutely delicious! It’s so difficult to find good birria but this place nailed it. I love the tacos and so much and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. You won’t regret it!
Good typical Mexican food, excellent service and a good atmosphere to go with family or friends.
The birria is so delicious and generously portioned. Handmade tortillas are amazing. The fresh passion fruit water was very tasty and refreshing. Place was very clean and tidy. I am definitely coming back again!
Overpriced for what it is. I paid $20 for two quesadillas de hongo and they were very small and not so filling. Tasty but the portion sizes need to increase. Its just masa and a little cheese and mushrooms which are literally dirt cheap. The taco truck across the street is a better deal even if the tortillas arent hand made.
These tacos are absolutely delicious. I am officially impressed. I loved the birria tacos but the asada. Wow. I highly recommend this place.
The fact that a torta is $16 is an abomination. Mexican food is cheap af, even post covid. As a Mexican, I refuse to spend these prices. Hard pass for me, especially in Granada Hills.
I stopped in on a Saturday and was welcomed in very warmly by whom I believe to be the owner. I ordered two quesotacos with birria and two mulitas with al pastor, to go. The service was great and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The owner was incredibly nice and showed me how they had packed up the consume and placed it in the bag so it would not spill while I carried it home. When I did get home I was happy to see they had packed up everything I needed to have an amazing lunch with plenty of red and green salsas (both very good, red was my favorite) and two baggies of onion, cilantro, and limon. I couldn't stop dipping the tacos in the consume, it was so flavorful I was even drinking it with a spoon. The mulitas were wonderful, have to love fresh made tortillas that tasted great even after the walk home, and the al pastor was delicious; I finished of the mulitas more quickly than I'd like to admit
I found my visit here and the food to be extremely enjoyable, I plan to come back again, most definitely to try their birria ramen, and would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Food is amazing, the place is Pristine clean and new. My friends ordered birria, pozole tacos and they serve free guacamole and beans deep with chips
Their Birria and pastor tacos are amazing! And the tortillas are made by hand. On top of that, both times I have been here I have been very impressed by the owner. He is very attentive and you can tell he really wants you to enjoy your food. He goes above and beyond and is very kind! And prices are very reasonable. I’m happy to support this business!
