I got two shawerma plate chicken and lamb and they were very very delicious! And you can tell the quality of their meat is top notch. Thanks to Jasmine and Sal for the incredible service.

This place is excellent! We had a large party of almost 20 people and the service was excellent. The staff was great, accommodating, and friendly. We felt like this was a private spot just for us. And ofc the food was spot on and always consistent. 100/10 would come again and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good quality Syrian food!

Pleasant atmosphere. Lovely dining rooms. The restaurant can easily be set up for events. Great service and beautifully presented dishes. The low lighting and openness between each table offers a lovely, intimate setting. A Taste of Aleppo really presents some of the best of Syria.

Wonderfully tasty food, generous portions, friendly service, fast (but not too fast), and calm. Excellent place to try out something different from your average restaurant.

I barely found out about this place driving by and the food is great! They play good music, very nice cultural decor, they have live belly dances to bring friends or a date!

We had the pleasure of dining at TOA restaurant, and I must say, our experience exceeded all expectations. At first, my wife and I were a bit skeptical, but any doubts were quickly dispelled once we tasted the food.

I ordered the Kafta and Shawarma, and both dishes were nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The Kafta was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, while the Shawarma was succulent and flavorful.

What impressed us the most was the balance of spices and the tenderness of the meats. It's not easy to find a restaurant that can achieve such harmony in their dishes, but TOA managed to do it flawlessly.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We’ll be returning without a doubt.

Since it was after 10pm when I came, there was hardly anyone there. There was only one waiter. We ordered a $21 lamb dish and a $19 kebab dish.the $21 dish was cold, as was the sauce at the bottom of the dish, which I doubt had been sitting there for long and the chef didn't even have the desire to heat it up.the only thing that was hot was the rice. The only thing that was hot was the rice.the lamb for $19 was ok. But overall, the lamb didn't have any flavor that lamb should have. Our side dish was yalangi which tasted too sour. The lights were dim and we couldn't even see our dishes clearly. There was only one waiter, but it looked busy enough to explode.

T. O. A is ok at best. My family and I used to come often when it was still Marats (if you know you know) and it was so good, I don’t know what happened. I’ve been here a couple times since it has changed owners and each time it been really mediocre for what you’re paying for. If you’re ordering when they open you have a better chance at receiving better service as there’s a lady working in the morning that’s been there for a while, but at night the food is always cooked differently. I don’t know if it’s the workers or what’s going on but even when i order on doordash my food comes differently every.single.time. They either forget pita bread, don’t listen to instructions, or give me different portions every time. In general T. O. A is mediocre and there are plentyyy of better mediterranean restaurants in fresno to chose from such as Golden Grill down the street, Mediterranean Grill and cafe, Ark, and even Kabob City. The service here is always an hit and miss too depending on who’s there and when i was walking to the bathroom the kitchen looked disgusting. If you’re looking for reliability, good food, and good service, T. O. A not a place to stop by. The last straw for me was a lipstick stain on my cup. Clean utensils and plates should be the bare minimum when dining in. - A former loyal customer.

This is one of the best places for Mediterranean food that I’ve tried. The service was amazing, the chef was beyond helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend to give this place a try.

Brought my friends here, 5 of us. You can feel the culture in there. Clean and spacious. Emily was our waitress and we all fell in love with her. She's the best! Customer service was phenomenal. The food and the desserts were some of the best here in Fresno! 3 of the desserts are homemade and I highly recommend those. We will be back tomorrow if possible

Came back later for the belly dancing and it was a blast!
