Tocaya Modern Mexican

Twice Tocaya hasn't sent us our whole order and twice they've done nothing to fix it. They said to take it up with Uber eats to get a refund. I'm hungry. I literally want you to just send me what I ordered. Terrible terrible service. WE ARE DONE HERE AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO IF YOU LIKE TO EAT.

As a vegetarian who loves Mexican food, it's not always easy to find good vegetarian taco's with more than just beans or cheese. I'm very glad that we bumped into this place, because here the vegetarian/Vegan taco's are so good!

Food is so yummy! It’s just super freezing inside, please lower the AC. Overall it’s nice and I would come again for sure!

Tocaya is my spot for healthy delicious Mexican food. The protein bowl is what I always get! I only wish they still had their delicious tamales

It’s great to dine in because the spot is huge and really nice with couches and tables but ordering delivery has always been great for me too!

Layout, service was outstanding. But the floor REALLY needed to be mopped, our shoes all stuck to the floor. The sounds of sticking shoes luckily was drowned out by our convo. The food is ok and nothing special.

Had been wanting to try this place for months and I’m so glad I finally went because it exceeded my expectations! The food and drinks (including a “virgin” option for the margaritas!) were superb, and so were the staff. But what I really liked was the wide open dining area with big windows, calming tones, and a great soundtrack. Plus they offer two types of water to drink on the house — a classy touch. All in all a perfect spot to get some nourishment *and* a bit of R&R!

Very good food with many gluten free options, prepared safely. The staff is very confused about this whole gluten free thing though - once they said we can't have the tortilla chips because they're fried in the same oil as the other gluten free stuff (umm, what?)

Food was very delicious. There is a lot of seating. Small parking lot in back. The line took a bit, but was worth it. Will be eating here again.

Healthy Mexican food in the heart of Hollywood, with lots of gluten-free options and a large, very nice place. I really liked the food, I would say it is one of the best burritos I have ever eaten, but the size seemed too small to me, it is necessary to order a starter or dessert (or both).

Outstanding gluten free food that is super tasty. I ordered the Protein Bowl with chorizo with house made cauliflower rice and I’m loving every bite so far. I ordered the happy hour full guacamole that was super fresh and tasty but way to many chips and plantains for the amount of guacamole, so I feel bad it will go to waste. Great atmosphere and friendly service. I hope to return during my eight day stay.

During my stay in LA I dined at Tocaya Modern Mexican five times with each meal as good as the first. Super friend service and delicious gluten free food. I can highly recommend and suggest if you have any gluten issues I haven’t had any issues at all plus it’s the tastiness gluten free Mexican food I’ve ever had.

Good food lousy service. Been waiting on my order at the restaurant for over 20 minutes and it is definitely not packed. I’ve asked about it a couple times and 10 minutes ago they said it was ready. I think it’s sitting up k. The shelf getting cold while they package to-go orders. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry or you want your food to show up warm.

Incredible customer service. Food is on point everytime! Clean atmosphere. So many options. Keep saying in going to find other food places in L. A but this place keeps calling my name!

Great tacos that are organic and come in vegan options. Nice menu full of fresh tasty choices. Definitely worth repeated visits.

Yum! Yum! Fresh guacamole with plantain chips. The bowls are delish and super fresh! Clean and large dining area. Highly recommend for anyone with an interest in organic Mexican and/or gluten free options. Yum!

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I love everything and had tried a lot, I haven’t taken pics cause I eat everything too fast. I’ll take pics next time, if you are wondering about the place, stop wondering and go right now! You will love it!

Soo delicious! I love mexican food. Since I eat vegan and my boyfriend also eats meat & dairy, the restaurant was perfect for us. We were both thrilled!
