A lot of interesting japanese groceries and food just a bit pricy. Took too long waiting in line to get paid so we gave up and got back home without buying anything.

Big selection. Low prices (often lower than American grocery stores? !), huge selection of premade lunch/dinner items. The decor changed from elegant when it opened to kitschy now. Cleaner than the Costa Mesa location (prob bc it’s newer). There is 1 item that they don’t carry that I need to go to Costa Mesa for. The “buffet” is still closed bc of covid which makes me sad bc their Agedashi tofu was some of the best that I have ever had! Inefficient registers bc there is no conveyor belt (similar to trader Joe registers) and sometimes understaffed registers can occasionally make the check out lines snake around 1/2 of the store.

Wish there was an apartment complex that was directly connected to Tokyo Central. It would be a match in, a bachelor's dream, of having all the right there when you wake up and come back from work. Prices are very reasonable, awesome selection, sufficient parking, and right across from In and Out. Bought some gift certificates, they were the old style paper type versus a gift card.

Absolutely love Tokyo Central. I love their sushi and their read to eat food-

The katsu is good- Teriyaki is good- Most dishes are good- They are reasonable in terms of portion and price. It's a great deal overall-

You can buy them and eat at the tables outside or near the bar area. And it is just awesome.

The grocery items are not cheap though. You can get a lot of stuff cheaper at Zion Market or Ranch.

The stores are clean and staff is nice. Parking is nice as well.

However, the check out is extremely slow. Usually, there are not enough people. Also, when they check out they are extremely slow. Last time, we had to wait 20 minutes while our one year old son was screaming. Not the best experience.

Still one of my favorite places to get good Japanese food and items-

Yup, I have been coming here quite often and plan to do so in the future as well-

It’s good but they sell so many expired foods and they literally scammed us. So we bought some of our dinner and I went to the cashier and they scammed it good but then we all ways check if there is any mistakes we caught 5 times that they up the price. They scam us with 2 chocolates but we only bought 1. It is good but be careful!

Nice little gem located in Yorba Linda. Lots of variety of foods and Japanese snacks. They even have their own section to where they make and prepare a wide assortment of sushi and sashimi plates! No need to go down to J Town over in DTLA when you can get what you need locally!

The company chooses to create their own policy but they don't provide masks to customers who unaware of this policy and show up at the store unprepared. The message is loud and clear that they consider the customers need them more.

Long line for checkout on Sunday, only two cashier's counters open. Rare items found here, sushi and sashimi plates are good, better price than Japanese restaurant.

We had just found out that this location had a Tokyo Central (we normally go to the OC) and this place is closer to the house and wanted to check it out. This place is really nice, really clean, and spacious! The food selection here is great and the bento boxes are awesome! After we got our groceries, we ate at the food court section just right before you exit (and from the outside as soon as you enter) and relax after a hard day's shopping. Thank you so much Tokyo Central!

Very well organized Japanese market. They have a vast selection of ready to eat meals as well as a bakery. Everything is well organized and placed into categories so it is easier to find what you are looking for. Check out his relatively quick as long as you're not there when everybody gets off work.

Great place for all things Japanese! The take out food (hot dishes as well as sushi, sashimi etc) is also very reasonably priced

(edit: mask required but no masks provided to customers. Dropping 2 stars). Authentic Japanese market with lots of choices, fun indoor decorations, discounted 20% off poke and bento boxes at the end of the day. Indoor dinning area has Japanese style seating, good quality chopsticks and free water.

I love coming to the store but they need to know when to open more check stands. The line to check out is kind of ridiculous sometimes.

Your company policy as stated in your entry sign at the door, is to have a mask on at all times and you want the public to use a mask in your store, but your employment advertisement right next to your "mask required no exemption" clearly has employees not using masks.

Lunchtime nom noms!

This is our usual spot to come on the weekends to buy snacks for our daughter and weekday lunch when we go to the office.

The meals we buy here have never been bad. Gyu dong, pork katsu, fried fish, and more. All delicious!

What makes this even better is, they only cost $6-$7. A much healthier and economic choice than fast food if you’re not preparing lunch at home to take with you.

See you this weekend!

Wish the ramen place was open: (. The food is great overall. Everything well organized and clean. Also, Akiko provided the best customer service so far! Carefully put items in bags since I was carrying ceramic plates and all with a positive attitude!

The food and choices are great. The prices are as expected. But the lines are RIDICULOUS if you go in the earlier part of the day because you want to get fresh sushi and deli items. I understand it's hard to get workers nowadays (in every industry) but the management needs to do what they CAN do- adjust the paths for checkout and expedite the process. It was chaos.no one knew where they were supposed to stand for checkout.
