Tomato Pie Pizza Joint reviews
17For LA, it was actually decent pizza. You don’t get to say that too often! Great customer service and reasonable prices too.
Love their pizza. It's always so fresh and yummy. Their salad is great too. Definitely recommend.
Second time going and it was even better then the first time. My family and I got the grandma with pepperoni and garlic knots it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and even offered us a sample of the grandma pizza. Definitely going to add this to our list of places to frequent. The have a patio area with bench seating that is very comfortable they have 2 heaters that keep you nice and toasty.
Was very excited to try it but super disappointed. Really bland, soft pizza. Not enough sauce, flavor or crunch. Would avoid the plain cheese pizza - need toppings!
Been coming here for almost seven years now, great local pizza joint! The reasons I'm not giving this place five stars is the manager, the one with an accent seems to have an issue with me. Also they are still COVID panicked, no indoor dining still, and a couple of weeks ago when we had an insane heat wave here, instead of allowing me to stand and wait for my pizza in the cool air conditioned lobby, they sent me to wait outside on the benches in 103 degree heat. Regardless if you want some good NY style pizza, this is definitely the place to get some. Not as good as Hard Times was when it was up the street. Nothing will beat that!
Great service. Lots of different pizzas to choose from. I ordered the Grandma, BBQ Chicken, and The Deluxe. Flavors are there and they are generous with toppings. BBQ pizza needed a little more BBQ sauce, Grandma needed a spot of mozzarella in middle of pie, and Deluxe needed more stability (slightly flimsy)! They also have a cute patio area to eat at in back. Definitely recommend and will be back to try others.
Terrible service, rude staff! I confirm this as a customer and as a delivery person! Especially the sales guy who served on September 30th was very disrespectful and ignorant! When I asked why I was ignored at the counter, he answered in a rude manner, accusing me of dishonesty. I waited over 15 minutes outside for an order even though I was told it would take 5-6 minutes. In the end, instead of sorry, he sent a review to the delivery service) It's up to you guys to decide. But it doesn’t improve you and your name. Glad there are other better places for ordering and cooperation.
Don’t tell me to wait outside like a dog, that’s the one thing I absolutely hate about this business
Pizza and service was excellent! Great location with convenient parking. Outdoor dining or take out. Ordered a few combinations of pizza pie and sliced pizza.
Nice little place. Very nice staff. Great thin crust pizza. Very NYC style. Reminded me of being a kid. Small parking on a astrange layout of a corner, but it definitely won't stop me from coming back. I can see this place becoming a regular for us.
Great pizza’s, friendly staff. Seeing all the comments about the small parking lot, I thought I’d have to fight for a spot, but no, there was plenty of spaces available.
We grabbed some slices, the Grandma, the Mac & Cheese, and the Syracuse-Style Hot Wing. Everything tasted great, the Grandma was the best but everything had it’s own unique flavor. I was weary about the mac & cheese but they did a great job. The Syracuse wasn’t as saucy compared to the others but it was still tasty. Looks like they have a little outdoor area to eat but we had these to go. They heated up the slices for us too! Definitely recommend.
I ordered a pizza from Tomato Pie online and it was for split pizza with two different recipes. When the pizza arrived, there was only The Really Really Funghi. I ordered The Notorious SMG and The Really Really Funghi half and half. I called Tomato Pie and told them what had happened and the manager was kind and gracious and sent me a Notorious SMG at no cost. His customer service was exceptional and I was really appreciative. Also the pizza's were magnificent. I went to L'attica Di Michele in Hollywood the week before and thought Tomato Pie's Pizza was much better. Thanks Tomato Pie. I'll be doing business with you again in the future. FANTASTIC!
I love y’all but I ordered 2 large cheese pizzas for delivery and it was $71. Like get real. Stop it.
Disgusting service. The first salesman, ignoring me, went outside to talk to his friend. The second seller kicked me out into the heat. The pizza that is on the counter is not covered by anything. Terrible pizza quality, burnt crusts. Huge dizdike this eatery. Just trash, from service and attitude to the client, ending with the terrible quality of food.
Dude made me wait outside for a order pickup, I’m not a dog time was 1pm April 16th a guy with short hair working the register said it
Ok so i came here after going to the gym (don’t judge pls) and got a cheese slice and some other one and it hit lemme tell you. This might just be one of my favorite spots in LA now. The staff is super nice too. Pls swing by
