Tomi Sushi & Seafood Buffet reviews
31Place went downhill. Sushi and sashimi quality subpar. Drinks are watered down. Used to be great.what happened?
This was a perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary! The ambience was great but the food was superb! I personally had the Filet Mignon Rossini and my wife had the peppered steak both cooked to perfection. They was more than enough food on the plate and the steaks just melted in our mouths.
The service was excellent and I highly recommended this Steakhouse for "Special Occasions".
Not a bad place for a birthday party, a lot of choices to accommodate everyone's taste.not sure this a secret, but there are some dishes are not presented in the plate tray, so you have to ask the chef at the seafood bar who are seems busy with cutting fishes for sushi.
Tried this place in the past with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I love the great character and fresh dishes and drinks. 5 stars.
I ate here on Valentine's day earlier this year as a dinner date with my boyfriend. From pictures look pretty good, like a high quality sushi. There were also very crowded and a long que for wait time. So we thought it has to be good. Little that we knew, the food wasn't even that good. I had plenty of buffet food before and this one rank at the bottom of my list for sure. Tables and silverwares aren't even that clean. Anyways, when we got home after that dinner, both me and my bf got food poisoning. It was a really bad night for us when we expected a better dinner. Really regretful that we went to eat here.
Wide selection of mediocre Chinese food. Sushi quality is deplorable at best. You get what you pay for and I won't be eating here again. There are only crowds here simply because there are no other buffet options in the bay area.
If I were to choose a location, it would be in San Jose, California. I have tried it at Concord, but it was meh for me. If you like expensive buffets, this is your deal.lol. I'm not really into expensive buffets, but I think I get a little of my moneys worth. But too expensive, you guys! I'd rather eat out at a $15.99 per head buffet. This is x2 of the price. $30 per head is too much.lol
Pretty pricey and unless you go early or reserve it's usually a heafty line, but the food is worth waiting for. Buffet style with mixed Asian style foods.
I think the variety is the best aspect of this place. The service is average at best, and the food quality varies. My wife and friends like the crab legs, so I have worked hard on trying g to find dishes that I can eat there. From time to time, my friends experience stomach problems after eating here.
Tomi's is the BEST asian buffet in town.
It has so many varied choices & you
have to try a little bit of everything. Get
Three different servings that's about
the most you can probably eat anyway,
unless you can do more plate servings.
The food is ok. Costumer service sucks. Most of the servers are rude. There are cheaper places that taste better, in my opinion.
Delicious, lots of sushi to choose from. Clean. Expensive even for lunch on a week day. Try Kome in sf.
The variety in their sushi bar and hot dishes are really good. The quality and taste is not exceptional but certainly better than average for a buffet. So do not expect a five star dining experience, but still this is definitely the best buffet in the town.
The birthday discount is amazing. The menu does vary day by day. Some days they had sashimi, which is amazing for the price. $24/$25 for all the raw fish I can grab? This is cheaper than Kenzo. The quality is nothing to write home about, but there are no better options in the bay area. Food quality is generally average or above average. A nice option for a variety of food.
Food is good we went at lunch time. It went up by 3 dollars a person. Not a very good deal as it was before. Wont go much at thos price
1st time eating here.
1. No welcome. No smile especially when you not dress well.
2. Want to through you out
This restaurant treat people badly, not fully done the eating already give receipts
3. Un explained surcharge
Best buffet I have ever been to for the price. One of the best buffets at any price. Restaurant quality food including high end items
This place has an amazing sushi buffet. Something for everyone including the sushi snobs. Sashimi, rolls, wraps, just fish, and even cooked or deep fried rolls. Their hot food is also really good and I love the seafood options and the authentic Asian vegetables like bak choy.
They have variety of dishes including chinese, Japanese sushi along with seafood but sushi is pretty away from authentic Japanese sushi bar.
Food looked good with great variety, but taste was okay. There are cheaper buffets with better food, albeit a smaller selection. Family thought the same. Not coming back, but it was worth a try.
