Tommaso's Ristorante Italiano reviews
13We had a party of 5, the food was delicious and priced very reasonably. Our server was excellent
Family-owned treasure of a restaurant in San Francisco. My fam wanted Italian food for the holidays and this is our go-to place. We ordered a half super deluxe/half sausage and mushroom pizza, veg plate, and two clam pastas. All were to die for + we ended up with tons to take home Parking may be tough but there are street/garage spots in the area.
Regular Italian food. Nothing special.
Asked for a booth they said it was for parties bigger than 2.however saw multiple people being sat.
Authentic Italian place and it’s rubes you vintage European vibes inside the restaurant. Food was good, we tried pesto ravioli and shrimp pasta with alfredo. Both of the dishes had right amount of spices, quantity of entree is adequate for one person.
Bread was average, however with olive oil and vinegar it tasted better.
Absolutely delicious Italian food! I'm already contemplating going back to get the same dish! Ordered the super deluxe pizza and fettuccine tutto mare. The pizza was stellar and the fettuccine had delicious sauce and was packed with seafood. There was a bit of a wait to get in but it was SO worth it. Also love the old school italian feel of both the staff and the dining space.
Locals often call it classic Tomaso's or Tomaso's classic. Great old school Italian place in North Beach. Great food great location sweet old school interior. Our wait person was awesome, very nice, very responsive. I hadn't been in a long time good to get back.
Carmen and her staff makes everyone's dining experience that much more special. Our group hit the lottery on the night we visted- It was mushroom week! Lucky us. Mushroom lasagna in peticular was so incredible I think we inhaled the dish.
Mushroom pizza is the best of the best in North Beach.
We ate family style and enjoyed every morsel.
Highly recommend.
Pretty good. Worth the try. Dough was a bit too flimsy for my taste. Still enjoyed it. Very polite and friendly.
Very small but quaint and intimate. The service was fantastic and the food was very good. Excellent desserts as well.
Great place to have a nice Italian dinner. They were very accommodating - we called ahead for a table of 8 and it was ready when we arrived. Dining was outside for us - it was a bit chilly, but we loved the quick service on a busy Saturday night (and they had a big party of people that night, which made it even more appreciated on getting a table). The good was fresh and tasty with plates large enough to share for the younger kids. Parking wasn't easy, so take note it may take a while (mostly street parking), but would definitely visit again when in the North Beach area of SF.
Great red sauce Italian restaurant which never disappoints. The pizza is superb. We can't wait to return.
Went for dinner on the weekend and had to wait for a table for half hour. The cheese ravioli with pesto sauce is very good.
We loved it
It tastes amazing!
Excellent tradicional home made flavor with beautiful presentation.
Waitress are friendly and thoughtful.
And the place is beautiful.
I would said that is ideal for everything since dates, family dinners, small partys, etc.
Everyone would enjoy eating here!
