I recently had an experience with Tony's Cake that left me extremely disappointed. I placed an order for a birthday cake and cake pops, specifically requesting chocolate flavor for the cake pops, which I emphasized to the baker not once but twice. Despite my efforts to communicate my preference, my order arrived with the wrong flavor.

What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I reached out to the designer on the day of the event, but I have yet to receive any response. It was my child's birthday, and they have a strong affinity for chocolate cake pops. The disappointment in their face when we discovered the error was disheartening.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, especially in a busy bakery, I had taken extra precautions to ensure the correct flavor by communicating it twice. The lack of response to my follow-up message only adds to the frustration. I believe that responsive customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and it was sorely lacking in this case.

I hope Tony's Cake takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to prevent such errors in the future. As a customer, I value clear communication and accuracy in orders, especially for special occasions. I hope to see an improvement in both the product and customer service to maintain the trust and satisfaction of customers like myself.

Ordered a Warriors themed birthday cake for my brother in law. Hands down the best carrot cake we’ve had!

I like the communication with this company. Their follow up, keeping you updated with the order status, and making sure they have your order correct is bar non. The cake, sadly, was not great. I would place it on the same level as Safeway. I will say that the cake itself is about 3.5 stars but the buttercream was way too sweet and not a good texture. Plus the proportion of buttercream to the cake was way off. The buttercream in between the cake layers was almost 1” thick. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but I just can’t.

I Just to order my cakes here, but I’m so disappointed with the service because I ordered a cake for my son's birthday for the 4th of July before I paid they confirm me that we they will be open so they accepted my order and told me to pick it up at 11: 00 am. On July 4th, I arrived at the place at the indicated time and it was completely closed. My son's party started at 12: 00. I drove from San Rafael to Vallejo and they didn’t calling me and let me know they will be close

I ordered cake for Birthday my kids, cake terrible taste hard, dry, filling cream cheese and Nutella, oh I don't found taste cream cheese and Nutella looks cheaper frosting, there was not enough cream and it was all fastened on the teeth like sand, after I tried contacting with owner no body never answered on my email, all cake go on trash can.

We got a chocolate cake for my step dad's birthday & it was AMAZING. Very good quality cakes! Delish.

I changed my wedding from a stuffy wedding to a Hawaii style wedding, they were so accommodating and wonderful through the process. Our cakes were beautiful and colorful. Everything tasted amazing and all 85 of our guests were in awe. Thanks Tony!

A lot of irresponsibility from these people and when you want to order they don't want to serve you and they tell you that they are too busy to serve you so that you come back another day to tell you the same thing again.
