9We were supposed to eat at the Koi Palace but they were closed and we were getting “Hangry” so we decided to eat at this place- Top Cafe. My daughter had the wonton soup- pretty bland, younger son had spam, eggs and rice- too oily. But what surprised me is when I was paying through Venmo (they accept Venmo if you don’t have Cash- usually a good way to avoid getting taxed) the lady who never refilled our drinks or spoke to us asked us to give them 10% tip! I was surprised. I will not come back to this place again.
Some really great authentic Cantonese style cooking with some really affordable prices. They got some great dinner specials. The place lacks Decour you’re not there for the environment you’re there for the food. In a very competitive market for Chinese food Cantonese food this place is definitely in the top three in the south bay.
Super chill place. Went here at 1am after a wedding job. Had great food and the lady at the counter was super nice. Would come here again!
The only problem for this restaurant is that the portion of the food may be a bit small for someone who has big appetite.
I forgot how salty this place is and they use MSG.
Price is good, but the taste is not quite right today.
The Peking rib is thin and the sauce is only ok. The Tofu fish pot was decent but on quite salty. The stirred fried broccoli was decent.
Still remember back in the collage days, we'd stop by and grab some food before heading towards the meandering hill drive and hwy 9 in the night. The two waiters there would always come in and join our chat when they were not busy.

This place open till 3am. Had been there since the grant opening about 15 years ago. Food was ok. In the last 3 months I have been back regularly, many dishes if you pick the right one it stands out and the price is good. In this area for a Chinese restaurant to the last long without changing the name, food quality has to sustain certain level.
This place is awesome huge menu really good food and good portions very friendly service and food prepared quickly with great flavors best part they are open until 3am. Highly recommended
