Restaurant Top Pot reviews
17 Honestly, a good place that offers a personal hotop plus being able to grill meat. Service has always been great, even if you are eating outside the heaters keep you warm.
Also having eggs as a bar option is a game changer.
Would highly recommend. Justkeep in mind that whole group needs to be present in order to be seated.
Kicking the New Year off a review of my ultimate favorite hot pot spot in all of the Bay Area! You have to trust me on this one.
Whether you're craving hot pot and/or bbq, you can get the best of both worlds all to yourself. Love that you can choose a broth and also grill at the same time.
Huge selections of meat, veggies, appetizers, soup bases, sauces/toppings, etc. All the ingredients are SUPER FRESH and HIGH QUALITY too! It's really hard to compare to other hot pot places. Not a single item I don't like on their menu.
Some must tries on the menu (imo) :
- The biang biang noodles are a must have!
- Chinese Doughnut (soak this bad boi in your broth, your tastebuds will be enlightened)
- Beef belly is great on the grill!
- Beef tongue (get your moneys worth)
- Fried bean curd
- Chinese yam
- Lettuce (idk what it is but their lettuce is so sweet so good)
- Fried taro
- TIP: put some green onions + oil on the grill until soft. Pair it with the meat. Flavor explosion. Thank me later.:)
Service is always top notch here. They're attentive and I never had to chase down someone for something. I like the seating layout where it's not too cramped and you have enough room to breathe. Plenty of parking outside the plaza which is what keeps me coming back!
Note: They only take reservations for parties of 6+. Wait times can be long esp during dinner time so if you don't want to wait, come right when they open for dinner. Don't underestimate the wait time for weekday dinner either.
Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!
Staff service was incredible. All employees worked so harmoniously. Our food came within short minutes of order. We were first timers and will be going back needless to say.
Great service, good food, good times. Get the hotpot with grill option and order the egg custard bun for dessert.
All you can eat, 40dollar per person, but the food some is not fresh even stinks, think about it
Best hot pot in the bay. Kind of expensive but you get what you pay for. Ingredients are very fresh and lots of variety for appetizers and pre made food too! Service is great, they get you your order super fast.
If you’re looking for a cozy and delicious place to enjoy some hot pot, look no further than Top Pot. This restaurant offers a variety of soup bases, meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles and more to satisfy your cravings. You can choose from half pot half grill, biang biang noodles, tom yum, spicy miso, coconut pork bone and other options. The broth is rich and flavorful, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the portions are generous. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Top Pot is a great spot for a date night, a family dinner or a group outing. You won’t regret giving this place a try!
SUCH good value, good service, and quality ingredients! And I love supporting small business owners! It’s family run and we’ve been supporting Jason since opening and they’ve never disappointed! I stopped bothering to go to Supreme Pot or Grand Hot Pot after coming here.
My husband’s favorite desserts are here- fried donut w condensed milk and steamed custard buns
*The only reason we would go to Grand Hot Pot is for the karaoke hot pot rooms: P
Best hot pot place ever! I really miss the place after leaving Norcal. Waiting time is a quite long, but worth it.
We love it here and try to come by every special occasion. There is usually a bit of a wait, ~1hour but it's totally worth it.
We have a 17 month old and every time we come here the staff is so welcoming. The food is great, the options are awesome. Fried sesame balls are.
We will definitely be back!
I love this place, the soup, the sauce bar. The quality of some of the fish isn’t amazing but you get unlimited for like $37. Nice people if you speak a little Cantonese ;)
It's so good, it's bad I can never pace myself because the prepared dishes are so good, and then the hot pot itself is great. Life is hard. Get top pot.
Grilling and Dipping all in one sitting is a great combination. This hot pot spot combines having a grill to sauté your meats and a pot to boil your meats.
They have plenty of different meat options and noodle options so you can always find your preferred combination. We love slice beef, pork belly, and beef tongue, so definitely find your combo and enjoy.

I absolutely love this hotpot/kbbq restaurant! From the moment you step in, the aroma of sizzling meat and bubbling soup is enough to make your mouth water. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure your table is stocked once your orders are placed and refilling your drinks and soup promptly. The selection of meats, veggies, and dipping sauces is impressive, and the quality is always top-notch. The variety of hotpot broths is rich and flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. It's definitely worth the visit!
Amazing experience, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Everything on the menu was delicious. The food is all you can eat, the drinks are cheap, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can pick either hot pot only or combined hot pot and bbq. The all you can eat meat, vegetable, noodle options for both the hot pot and bbq had tons of variety. The meal also includes dim sum appetizers and an ice cream for dessert. A very customizable experience. A must try!
First time here, Not the best but ok. Very friendly and educational staff. Definitely try the half pot and half grill.
One of the best hotpot places I've been to. Their meat quality and sake selection is great.
