Topside Terrace Kitchen & Bar, San Diego CA

Was a nice atmosphere with beautiful views. Quality of food matched the price. However did have to wait about 5 minutes even with a reservation. Would recommend giving it a try, parking was conveniently across the street.

I have been in this restaurant so many times. I always order the steak. Last weekend I took my family to dine in and I regretted it. They changed their steak quality it was horrible literally It was chewy (ordered medium rare) and didn’t enjoy it at all. And the steak is $37 for its non quality. And the server confirmed that they made some changes on their menu and the type of meat they used to serve. Very disappointing. In addition, they have Caesar salad and it comes with cilantro sauce, I emphasized that I wanted the dressing on the side but the server didn’t quite follow the request. But what is funny they don’t have Caesar dressing for Caesar salad? It is very absurd. So I had to order ranch dressing instead. I won’t be returning to this restaurant again. Scallops were okay. And lastly, we were seated right front of the speaker it was so loud they can either change where the speaker is or volume down. We were two families had the same issue and no one did anything about it.

Brussel Sprouts and service was good. Drinks were ok, the Apple Pie drink didn’t taste like apple pie.
Ordered the burger and fries. Burger is a pre shaped patty lacking flavor and the fries are from frozen.
Cool place to drink and hang out, but I’d never intentionally eat here again

My preferred location for tasty american food. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. Service is typically good. The bill was appropriate for the quality.
