Torpedo Wharf reviews
13 Excellent sightseeing spot, but very muddy and slippery after raining
Went on New Year’s Day morning and there was few ppl
It's nice to walk out on, but isn't a destination. Takes about 3-5 minutes to see.
It was a little busy when I visit there but it's really nice place if you want to see Golden gate and the fort and do a little fishing and crabby
Just amazing place for having a close impression of this magic bridge. Strongly reccomended.
You get a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge here, night or day, fog or shine. Can catch rock crab here too.
Great views of the golden gate from water level. Not very crowded, compared to other areas in the city, and plenty of parking - free after 6pm. Lots of people running and biking along the pathway nearby.
One of my favorite fishing places plenty of action halibut is the running lots of bait fish in the water on all sides of the Pier.
Great place to fish and crab, but fishing is really only good during certain times of the year. Like Halibut season during the lare spring and summer months. Crabing is always a great time with the peir never closing so you can even do late night crabing and cook the crabs on the spot with friends and family. One thing very important to keep in mind there is the fish and Game rules when it comes to crabbing. Rules like Size and gender, but most importantly the type of crab yiu aee allowed to catch because Dungenuss are not permitted inside the bay. Which is anything inside the golden gate bridge. Reason being they are protect since the bay is a breeding ground for them. Makes sense if you ask me but at the same time sucks because you will definetly catch them. You better throw them back though! You dont want to get caught by the Rangers because if you do its around a rack ($1k) for each illegal crab and there arent no warnings. Ive warned people that the Rangers were here and been blown off just to watch them get taxed a lil under $10k for him and then his women another $6k.
Lastly, the veiw there is avsolutely amazing and something people from all over tge world travel here to see. From the Golden Gate bridge being litterally right there to the Downtown building sky line and lets not forget about the famous Alcatraz in between. I know this is one of my longer reveiws but i thought it was important to tell that information when it came to fishing there.
Another fantastic spot to view the Golden Gate Bridge and totally recommend during sunset.
Who ever is looking for a good excuse to come over and check san Francisco CA Torpedo is a good and great option for.
Delicious burrito! Steamed tortilla, choice of meats or veggies, beans and hot sauce. I love that the have large and small sizes.
I have been here twice, and both times have been in the last two weeks. It’s crab season right now until June, and I love those little critters. I have been learning with a new friend how to catch them, store them, cook them and eat them. It’s quite the process. I would say that unless you are a pretty rugged and patient individual, you should make a result your favorite seafood restaurant and leave it up to them. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, getting tons of bait stolen by seals and sea lions, then this is your spot. The weather here is super challenging, foggy, and cold so bring All the layers you gonna need them.

An extremely amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Definitely go during sunset as the faint glow in the background lights up the bridge perfectly.
