13This is our go-to sushi place in A town. My favorite is the crispy rice spicy tuna. The food is always fresh. The staff is friendly and service is usually pretty good.
We have eaten there before and food is good. Except we walked out the last time because waitress was touching the food without gloves also wiped hands on pants and continued to touch the food. Grossed us out.
Food was good but the rolls have gotten smaller. The roll I ordered wasn't much bigger than a quarter (coin). A MUST try is the fried avocado.
Just brought home takeout and there was no wasabi nor ginger. Apparently they no longer include wasabi and sliced ginger with their dishes. Every other sushi restaurant i have ever been to in multiple states automatically includes these with each dish. I called to ask and was told that you have to request it ahead of time because they are trying to reduce plastic use. Say what? Its a scoop of wasabi and slices of ginger sitting next to nigiri in the container. What plastic? At the very least they should have some kind of message on their website AND also notify/ask customers when they pickup if they would like wasabi and ginger. Our meal definitely suffered from the lack of these sides that have always been sushi dish standards. Toshi is officially On Notice for this.
Great little place for decent Asian food. Has sports on two screens. Ramen is average, but everything else is good.
Always busy in there and for good reason, the food is delish. My favs are the cheese bomb appetizer and the Marilyn Monroe roll.
We love this place! Don't bother going anywhere else! We are spoiled. Several years ago, this place went through some troubles under the prior ownership, but it is now better than ever!
The enthusiasm for the cuisine is second to none locally. Friendly and accommodating, best spicy tuna in town.
Place is decent. But both the cook and sushi chef had long hair and long beards with no hair or beard nets. Just kinda poor health standards.
Absolutely the greatest service nowadays sub 17 or 18 dollars a meal this aervice is Absolutely 100 out of 100 for the price
Excellent service. Miso, Rolls, and Chicken Bowl were incredible. Will definitely go back again and would highly recommend to any sushi lover.
The food was fantastic. Every Sunday my daughter and I try something new. So far everything was great. Definitely recommend
The best Japanese food in Atascadero. The fish is of a truly exemplary quality that is unmatched by any other local spot. Not to mention, the bowls and yakitori in particular deserve a shoutout. Friendly staff, simple menu, explorative options, and safe for picky eaters. We go once weekly!
