This place is great for getting your hair braided. Mariam the owner has the best braiders. I have been getting my hair braided at this location for ten years. I love how my hair look every time.

The people are nice but my braids were tacky as hell, i had to take some out and them over because she had to much hair on the strand to braid.they used fake hair and told me it wss human hair, i haven't gotten one compliment on my hair $250.00 my friend paid for me to get my hair done, im homeiess living in abandoned houses and some nights the streets. Its barely been a month and i probablt gotta take my hair down next week. Im totally dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend this shop at all. Very friendly people but i would rather had unfriendly people that knew how to braid.big thumbs down from me

Called last minute and they were able to braid my hair 1 1/2hrs later. I showed her a picture of the style and she did it picture perfect in very little time. She had me in and out under 2hrs. Very nice and friendly staff! Will be back again! Thank you for A+ service

My hair was embarrassingly unfinished I bought 5packs of 8” & 10” blends of hair for a crotchet braids, she put all 5 packs on half my head only to realize Oops! The hair is gone and s far from DONE.
OF course I’m miffed at paying $200, the beauty supply store is closed, I’m new to the area and I’m flying out the next day. I never understand why there’s a whole crew of people, yet it takes 6hrs using one person and my hair is unfinished

Great service. My hair braider Bousso was very professional. Her work was amazing. She was fast paced but took her time enough so that the braids looked nice and not rushed. Her braiding Is phenomenal. If your looking for someone who can braid tight, but light enough to keep your edges she is definitely the person to ask for.

Love this place and these girls. They don't mess around. They do exactly what you want and they do a great job.

Never again Boo Boo, very unprofessional, late and behaved like they were doing me a favor; I had heard bad things about this place, but just figured people have different experiences, Nope they are as bad as described. Was given three different prices for the same hair style. After showing the girl a picture of a very simple hair style that she said she could do.she apparently did not want to do it right because it was her "day off". Then 1/4 of the way through she said if I really want "that it will be more money". No I showed the picture 3 times because? On top of all of that it was straight up nasty in this shop Nevvvveeer again!

Braid wayy too tight! Sew-in way too tight.i have permanent damage to a section of my hair roots because of them. I literally had a shiny baldspot in the middle of my scalp after a sew-in from Them, i had to shave the rest of my hair and wait for it to grow back and to this day it still doesnt grow as fast as the rest of my hrad so its extrememly short compared to the rest of my hair. I had to blow-dry my hair myself and They also dont style your sew-in or leave-out. So u have to flat-iron your leave-out yourself and still pay over $200. Also be prepared to be there alll day, they take breaks to eat, talk to each other, answer the phone constantly all while you're sittiing there.plus kids will be everywhere.

They always do great work, it took me a while to find a good place to get my hair braided that was also welcoming. I'm half black and white, they have no problem and didn't even blink an eye at doing my hair even once and stay late to get the job done right.

Went there to get corn rolls and the older lady was very accommodating. However, I’ve never had anyone put braids in that were this tight. I figured since my hair is only a few inches I’ll endure the pain. That wasn’t the worst part though. A younger girl took over after which some baby kept hollarin a few feet away which was irritating as all get out. I’m already in pain and now some kid is screaming at the top of its lungs. I assumed it was hers because after I asked if she could go quiet the baby she started mumbling insults in her native language. Some of which I understood. I’d just gotten off of work and didn’t want any drama by some crazed Senegalese mother. Won’t be back. The atmosphere is too unprofessional for me to be paying $80 for such a basic hairstyle. I guess if you want your hair done there you have to endure the screams of crying babies and kids running around.

I’ve been here around 5 times for cornrows and they always have done an amazing job and are fast.

Been going here for years. I have got my hair done at other places but Touba has done the best.

My experince here was absouletly terrible. First off, i got to the salon early and didnt leave until it was dark. The person who braided my hair was absouletly slow it was embarassing. To top it all off they stole one of my personal belongings and did not give me my preferred length or hairstyle type. My hair hurts even after weeks of it being done and the service here is terrible. My advice to anyone wanting to call and book an appoinment. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. I PROMISE YOU THEY WILL DO IT FOR MUCH MUCH CHEAPER AND GET YOU OUT THE DOOR FASTER THAN THESE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. I MEAN 180$ FOR BRAIDS? WHO JUST HAS THAT LYING AROUND. This hairshop is horrible and i will never come back. These people are scammers and dont even deserve a dime. Be smart and dont be like me. Who made on of the biggest mistakes of my life, which was coming here.

I will never go back to this shop. They DO NOT listen to the customer. They overcharged me $270 for some individual box braids.

I kept (politely) asking her not to braid to tight; she wouldn't listen. I asked her to leave my edges out because they break off people edges; she didn't listen. I also asked her to place my part down the middle; SHE DIDN’T LISTEN!

I'll NEVER return!

Pricing is fair and the quality of their braiding is great. I have long thick natural hair and they always do a great job. Appointments are highly recommended.

The lady that did my singles did a horrible job. My braids looked old after 1week she did a rush and sloppy job never going back their I would not recommend going there charge too much for a sloppy job
