A shout out to Eva from leasing office who gave me a great experience when visiting here. She was very helpful, provided us abundant information and patiently answered all my questions.

This apartment is very neat and the leasing agent is very friendly. Eva is very professional and willing to go extra mile and explain everything clearly. She also took us a great tour of this apartment. It has a great floor plan and public area.

Township recently hired a new Community Manager and it has made all the difference. The apartment building is kept clean and well maintained. I have received excellent customer service and quick response times to my inquires from the team. In general, all staff are friendly and helpful. The new manager puts the residents first and listens actively and follows through quickly. I highly recommend Township.

Nightmare. Nightmare. Nightmare. Nightmare. Nightmare.

1) Communication. They said they will reply in 48 hours, which is OK. When getting back, I followed up immediately, and they said they would not rely the follow-up question until 48 hours. AND, they forbid office visit, they won't let you in.

That means, one complain needs one month to be completed, bc, they refuse to talk to you on your followup questions until 48 hours. What a revenge on their residents for complaining.

2) Security systems broke down. The front gates, and elevator failures. Residents blocked in the mailroom since all the gates to our homes were down. People complained to the management that afternoon, but they left with the issue unfixed and letting people blocked there.

3) Flat tire caused by glass shards, nails on the side driveway. The glass shards are frequently identified on the drive way entrance, and never got cleaned up. I complained to the management because my car got a flat tire when driving through it and cost me $500 to switch the entire tire. The management said they would have it cleaned up, which they never did.

4) The parking is a mess. My place was once occupied by a car that doesn't belong to anyone in the apartment for 3 days. I had no choice but to park my car in a parking lot nearby overnight because the management did not pick up the emergency call, and the towing company said they cannot tow without the management on site. Though I asked the management to assign a temporary spot the next day, the temp spot that they assigned was parked with another random vehicle that doesn't belong.

5) Lost of package. Several-time lost of packages, one-time the package was left unpacked in the mailroom

Self-guided tour experience is bad. The staff who is helping us is cold and never provides any useful info actively.

There were several issues regarding my mail and delivery getting stolen. I asked the community leader to send some notification to other residents regarding the stolen mail issues, but they barely responded to any of my concerns. It's a frustrating experience and ended up getting reorders of my deliveries (excluding groceries which were stolen), but I wish something was done in this situation. On at least one occasion, I know that a resident of the apartment complex had taken a box of groceries and gave it back unrefrigerated the next day. They most likely returned because the items were not very valuable. Also residents will see a full trashcan and pile more stuff on top of it for some reason until it overflows the mail room

Avoid if possible! This building has serious acoustic issue that will impact your well-being if you're not on the top floor. Ceiling/floor do not insulate well, if you get upstairs neighbor with dog running around all day, you will hear every step like rock tumbling for hours on even at night. Needless to say that you'll definitely hear people's footsteps and items dropping like mortars going off. If it's just the sound, it might actually be tolerable, but the problem is that you can feel neighbor's step on your walls and floor (thus your chair, bed, desk, etc). Because it's impossible to anticipate, it can be quite startling, which can lead to poor sleep.

I wrote to the management once a long while back regarding noise and another issue of neighbor pouring water over the balcony which showered over mine and splashed me. Management claimed to have communicated with my neighbor, and the water issue had resolved but not the noise issue. My follow up inquiry did not get a response.

Other issues: lack of leadership results in trash room chute overfills on weekends (odor leaks to the hallway), staircases and parking garage packed with pet fur (for those allergic like I am).

Pros: A lot of wall outlets.haven't had to unplug anything to compromise.

I lived at Township Apartments for about a year, and really enjoyed it. The location is great, my apartment was super quiet, and the people in the office were always incredibly helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay there again if I move back to the Bay Area.
