I got the car I wanted in the end but how many times do you have to tell someone you don’t want something until you have a stroke? The 2nd guy I had to talk to was especially egregious about their financing

Toyota of Poway have the best Automotive Mechanics and STAFF! Their work is done right the first time and I never had any complaints after having my truck serviced their.
I purchased my Toyota 1794 Tundra Truck from Toyota of Poway 3 years ago and only had it serviced at this dealership after purchase.
I always request Service Advisor Mike Lewis each time to have my Toyota 1794 Tundra Truck serviced for required maintenance due.
Mr. Lewis is very knowledgeable and professional and always work with you for the best maintenance options for your vehicle.
I highly recommend Toyota of Poway for any of your automotive needs.

Our Service guy is Art. He always looks out for us and provides good recommended service options and is not pushy which is why we always ask for Art. Last repair only required a few clips which he did not even charge labor. (Thought it was going to be several hundred dollars to replace splash guard panel under the car after running over a big tire piece.)
We will always go back to Toyota of Poway because of Art’s great service.

I have had a bad experience if being rushed through the process without the car being actually ready to be sold/taken away. I had to go back to get codes for navigation etc, and after an almost 2 hours wait in the service area, I was told they couldn't get the code so I'd have to leave the car overnight. The service guy was unhelpful and there was no real explanation of why it took two hours for then to let me know that the code could not be downloaded! I will update once I get the car back with everything working as it should.

Art in service is a great person always takes good customer care for me. I recently moved to La Jolla but I will come to Poway Toyota for my auto needs!

Toyota of Poway service department is top notch. I believe they give fair estimates and there work is always performed professionaly. Art Valera my service advisor was very helpful and gave me timely updates.

I love to purchase the Toyota Care for my car so it could be taken care all years without any hardship at other auto repair. They also have 24hr roadside assistance and other services come with the package.

I supposed to get this package extension last couple from my last service but due to the rep who assisted me that day not very nice to me and seem pushing and rushing me with her attitude, I decided to walk out the door and was actually upset eventhough i know the mechanic men are pretty good with their job.

Now it is time to come back for car maintenance and I need to buy the package, the price goes up this time. However, I am happy to purchase because the rep who served me this time is very nice and sincere- her name is Jessica. I am in a customer service industry with my own business for over a decade, I got trained and trained many people for customers and always believe no matter how expensive your products are, as long as you make your customers happy and understand the true value, we are willing to put out our money. I think this time Jessica did a very great job. I was upset and disappointed at the beginning because the price goes up not with what I expected to pay, but with her attitude and sincere, I am happy when I paid and walked out of the door.

Jessica deserved this compliment! Thanks for your service.

Service was able to get my vehicle in on short notice for scheduled maintenance. It was completed sooner than promised and the premium car wash is a great deal. Service person Keif was great. Thank You

Toyota of Poway and especially Art have been very helpful to me and have made taking my car there easy and quick. Art has gone out of his way to help me with flat tires and service in a quick and helpful way. He helps with discounts as wel, which I appreciate.

Where to start here on what went wrong. As I arrived I was met by the service adviser JD. We sat down, had the usual small talk and I brought up a concern I had about some suspension noise on my tacoma. JD went on to say, "We are very busy today and now is NOT the time to bring up these complaints". I was so taken aback by this comment I sat there for a few seconds in silence from the words he just said.

So when is it a good time to bring up my concerns? Only when it is convenient for the dealer? That's not how customer service works. I told him to keep it until it is fixed. I have another car so it is not problem for me. So I leave my car and go on my way.

I get a call back near the end of the day and retrieve my car. I get home and after what JD said I just had to double check their work. What I found was they forgot to tighten the oil drain plug. Oil was dripping from my skid plate and ended up on my drive way leaving a good sized pool.

Now i'm suspicious they did not address my other concerns. I pull the footage from my dash cam and what a surprise, they unplugged it. Conveniently they plugged it back when JD was having conversation with the tech inside my car listing my other concerns. I applaud them for their acting ability in front of the camera as if they weren't being inconvenienced by my request. He took it for a test drive and did nothing to replicate the conditions I described to produce the sound I was hearing. In the end, it was not fixed. Unbelievable.

I brought my car to Toyota Poway for professional service and got quite the opposite of it. It doesn't have to said but I will not bringing any of my cars back here for service and neither should you.

I had a great experience at Toyota of Poway with Kaleen and his team! Was able to get the bigger car I much needed at a price another Toyota couldn’t do! Overall pleasant and relaxed process which is always a plus! Thanks Poway Toyota!

The people at Toyota Poway are always so helpful and friendly. Service provider Art Valera is always there to help. He listens to your concerns and questions and gets you right in to get your car looked at. He never makes you feel like your questions are silly and always gets answers to your problems. He is very kind and reassuring.

Good service but not cheap and why, oh why, do they always try to sell you stuff like a replacement air filter for $50? It degrades the business into just another car salesmen place.

I’m very disappointed. At first, I had an excellent experience starting with the used car manager, Randy Sisson, and the salesman and the finance manager. They were very attentive and helped me get the vehicle quickly and with no hassle. However, after two weeks the used truck I bought began to have mechanical issues both, with the engine and the transmission. Two separate mechanics looked at it, and agreed that the truck was filled with additives to make a good first impression. I already had to replace the transmission, and I am now making plans to replace the oil pump. Not an easy or cheap task, to say the list.

I spoke with Randy on the phone, and while he was very kind, he also said they were not responsible for selling me a junk vehicle that, in my opinion, should have been sold at auction and not retail. He said that his mechanics would not do something so shady, which leaves me with two thoughts:
1- Either, they took the truck in on trade, did not check for mechanical issues, and are willing to sell junk to their customers, or.
2- They purposelessly made the truck run fine for a few days just to sell it.

Either way, it seems that they are willing to sell junk, and let their customers deal with the consequences. I wish that they would have been honest before selling me a financial burden that I have to fix. I think Toyota of Poway customers need to know that their kindness does not reflect honesty. And, to take the time to take their used inventory to an honest mechanic to look it over before making the same mistake I made when I trusted this company.

I have to give them at least one star to leave a comment, which I think is unfortunate and unfair, since they deserve 0 stars. I feel robbed by the company, and I feel robbed that I have to give them one star.

Very pushy service advisors. I was specific about the service I needed but kept calling me to add more things to fix. When the client tells you “No”, I’m sure that’s exactly what they meant. They’re bringing their car salesman tactics into their service department. Not a good move if you’re trying to earn your clients’ trust.

The young lady that helped me was very friendly. She went beyond my expectations, because, she helped me create an account online so I could use my Groupon for my oil change. I tired to create the account on my phone, but I was unable to. She had no problem and took care of of all my needs.

There are a lot of places to buy cars in Southern California but Toyota of Poway dealership truly amazed me. I bought my 2016 4Runner there and had zero issues. The customer service and Auto service department are especially nice. Yes, they are supposed to be nice but their level of professionalism is what sets them apart. I'm happy to tell my family and friends that I bought my 4Runner there!

I had a scheduled appointment at 7: 45 AM with Mike. I arrived at 7: 30 AM. I was the only car in the driveway, and I waited 10 minutes and Mike did not appear. It was 34 degrees out and a worker told me to step inside to get warm. He also told me where Mike's desk was so I walked to it. Mike greeted me and told me he would be right with me. 10 minutes later, I was still waiting for Mike to help me. Once the paper work was done, Mike told me it would be two hours for my oil change and tire rotation. I asked him to please call when my car was done. At 10: 00 AM I returned to Mike's desk. Which was 2 1/2 hours later. I had not been called, but he said my car was done. I again had to wait at least 10 minutes before my paperwork was complete. This was the first time I have had such poor customer service at Toyota of Poway. After my experience today, I will not be returning. It seems that there needs to be more service advisors or less appointments scheduled on the same day. Thank you!

Again, Art delivers an exceptional customer service. Every time, I come to the Poway Toyota dealer for any service. He knows what my car needs and when, and gets a quote right up front. Easy to book appointments around my busy schedules and always a welcoming smile.

The service was good & I felt Art (customer service) told me problems with my car without any pressure on my part to have it done on that day. He explained well for me to understand.
