Trader Joe's reviews
19Trader's Joe's in the SFV is the same at different locations. Not great service, some great snacks and prices aren't bad.
This location is on the small side, the layout is a bit counter-intuitive, and the parking lot is kind of tight but there is some street parking and if you're just stopping in for a few things it's a pretty quick in and out. It can get busy and crazy on weekends. The quality of the products is very good overall like every Trader Joe's.
I appreciate the care and concern regarding COVID, however, we can easily see that perhaps the staff is a bit stiff and rabid in this regard. Ease up, kids, this isn't a military drill and you don't get a badge (or maybe you do for all we know)
I mean. Trader Joe’s is just magnificent, what can you say? I thought there were a little more people than I would’ve preferred given COVID but still it’s always a great experience grocery shopping at TJ!
I love Trader joes their salads are the best especially the Pasadena salad it's delicious and healthy too all their food is healthy and Organic
Nice, went Sunday pm, waited about 5 minutes for 6-7 couples outside. Inside not crowded, all wearing masks. Fast checkout, no lines. Bag in your own bag outside at covered table.
Love this Traded Joe's. We live closer to other Trader Joe's but often come here because there are often less people shopping here. The parking lot situation is much better too. They have all the same great products.
Drive to the Trader Joe's in Burbank and the parking lot was nearly full and everyone was driving in the parking lot as If it were a monster truck rally, so I drive out then other side asap and headed to the toluka lake store and found parking right away and walked right in and just went through grabbing stuff that looked good. It was fun and easy and worth the extra mile drive.lol.
This store is making you wait outside. I’m not sure if all Trader joes are doing this, but it’s really annoying. I wish I would of known before driving all the way here.
I like how Trader Joe's is making sure their customers and workers are safe by controlling the flow of customers going in and having the tape on the sidewalk 6 ft.apart and hand sanitizer before you go in and when you come out. Love the store and always great customer service.
Great staff, good products (especially for those of us who are single). Ther social distancing us difficult as their stores tend to be very small
I was in the area dropping off paperwork. Drove by and saw a long line. I wondered if that meant they had things other stores didn’t have. Why else wait in line? ! I decided to give it a try. I’m not from the area, and rarely shop at Trader Joe’s because of the prices. I usually do my family’s shopping at Vons/Albertsons. I look for cheap deals. Especially when shopping for a few of my clients. I provide home healthcare. These folks need/try to pinch and save where applicable, and I try to assist as much as I can. A negative customer service experience at my neighborhood Vons forced me to broaden my horizons. I’m now willing to spend a little more if that’s the price of professional service. Being mistreated by Maria at Vons Tujunga has taught me that sometimes you get what you pay for. Yes the line was long here at Trader Joe’s, but the professionalism I received from the staff was almost overwhelming. I was asked several times while in line outside if I needed assistance, was I shopping for someone else, did I have a list, I was even offered the option of having a Trader Joe’s associate grab the stuff on my list which was for a client, while I handled the shopping for my own household. I couldn’t believe it! The people of Toluca Lake likely don’t know how good they have it. You certainly wouldn’t get this type of service in Tujunga. If only I could afford to move here I’d consider it solely based on the service received here. Bravo! I’ll be contacting corporate to let them know what a fine job was being done here. At least while I was here. I felt safe shopping here. I felt comfortable shopping here. Yes the lines were long, but we're 3 months in to this pandemic. It’s to be expected, and with service like this, who cares if I pay a little more or wait a little longer. It was well worth it!
Used to like going into this location, but after today and what I witnessed I no longer will.
I understand seniors have certain dates and times to go shopping, but when you have them standing in the sun and heat waiting in line for at least 45 minutes, that is not okay!
I went to speak to one of the manager and he told me this "let me put into perspective for you, seniors have their time"
So Mr. Manager I hope you don't ever have to wait in line inline in the heat and pass out or get dizzy from getting over heated!
The young man in the red Trader Joes shirt with the tats and the slicked back hairdo, running the physical-distancing arrangements out front, thinks it’s ok to verbally abuse news media professionals on the streets doing their jobs. They were not on the TJ’s sidewalk or anywhere within 6ft of the lined up customers and he is violating California Penal Code Section 653 (m) pertaining to harassment. This is the USA, where the press has a 1st amendment right to do their jobs on a public street. TJ’s management needs to have a chat with him. This post will be removed after they say they’ve done that. Thanks.
Extremely overpriced. They take advantage of people and overprice their merchandise for a false cause. It makes me sad that they charge so much.
This is a great stop for fresh produce, nuts, flowers and shopping for one person as they have many items in smaller individual sizes. Great prices and you feel like you get your dollars worth as compared to Whole Foods. Friendly staff make this a great experience every time. Fresh Gluten free bread selection is awesome.
Great store with everything we needed and the prices were very reasonable. Produce was fresh, well stocked and clean, isles were marked and made finding what we wanted easy. Would recommend to anyone looking for groceries or snacks.
Always a clean, fresh environment with the nicest people. I love shopping here. Staff is always so helpful. This TJs is also very active in their community, too. Thanks TJs!
Great store but they need to stop letting the autograph petition people from standing next to store with there sign here for more taxation in California.
