Trader Joe's, Monterey CA

Always well stocked and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have great hours and prices. I really love the variety at this market even though it’s not huge they have what I need.

Mary Jane was great.
Only employee to ask if I needed help finding something. Went above & beyond even offering a recipe suggestion & showed me where to get everything for a quick, yet complex soup that tasted great.

I broke a bottle of wine and the staff were very forgiving. Cleaning it up and not making me pay for it. Great eco friendly products for the house.

I really enjoy coming here for my basic grocery needs. Great price. Great quality, as is expected.

Occasionally I find some of the fruit starting to go bad. I recommend to just go through and skim what you get that's fresh, look at dates, etc.

Only downside is that parking is tight and rather difficult at busy times.

I love Trader Joe's, but this location has the worst parking and parking lot and they are always out of stock with many items.

Gotta know what is good and what isn't as far as items. But T Joes is great. Staff always friendly.

Expensive but everything is so fresh & they carry the BEST selection of goat & sheep cheese among other things! ️

Love the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. I always seem to find something new to buy every time I go in. Employees are friendly and helpful.

I never find what I'm looking for there but, they always have amazing snacks and so I end up leaving with a million snacks that taste amazing. Super clean and friendly

Nice small shop with a lot of stuff. It doesn't have all what I was looking for but it is acceptable. The personnel smile at you and help when asked. Thank you.

Always the best place to shop no matter which city your in. They have a culture code of great service, foods and products.

Cost effective location for natural foods. I enjoy the service and sense of locality I receive when shopping here. When I was living on campus at UCSC this was a better option than other grocery stores.

This place is fun. They have stuff that I can't get anywhere else. Parking is a little tough because of multiple businesses on sight so during the day I avoid going. Evening is best but there is a large homeless population that hangs out near. I really don't like being asked by multiple people for my "spare change ".

Good selection and always friendly staff. The company just needs to start paying employees $17-18 an hour again and it would be perfect.

Trader Joe’s provides groceries for cheaper price but the quality is bad too. I have had old, oxidized bad nuts sometimes including today. Seems like they carry old nuts. At first I asked them not to carry old nuts at the customer service. Of course it didn’t change and I stopped buying nuts there. But recently I forgot about it and started buying nuts again. It’s not that there is bad nuts all the time. So I shopped quite a few times and There were bad nuts sometimes. I had one just now again and I ve decided not to get nuts there. I had enough. Just checked the expiration date and it was “best before may 2022. ” And I never buy their bagels and pumpkin bread again. How can they make them so bad? Safeway used to have good bagels but since a few years ago their quality became bad, yet Trader Joe’s bagels are worse. But their peaches nectarines and figs are good most of the time. But other organic fruits were not good most of the times I purchased them. So I rarely buy organic fruits there. Whole Foods used to be better for organic fruits but not sure about it these days. I just go there because I haven’t found a better store. Better than Safeway.
