Trader Joe's reviews
16Fresh, quality produce at minimum wage prices. I don’t know if they pay their workers less or their managers. But I do see their managers stationed on the floor in their own “private” cubicle. That’s a good sign of equality. Whole Foods, their pricier competitor in the organic food market, is owned by Amazon, and ultimately, Jeff Bezos, the “astronaut. ”
Directions: Leaving underground parking; “Go North”, no further info re street name, R or L out of parking lot. Nothing, zilch! Was not helpful, I used a different app.
10/26/21: Biggest TJ's in SF. It's convenient & surprisingly does not have homeless inside it or by the entrance. Full of great food choices.
Going down in usual TJ exper, particularly when certain items depleted as simple as even organic boneless skinless chicken breast & organic homogenized milk, even though prices have been Arogantly increased by TJ to boot. Not good business practice. Shame on TJ. Almost like slight of hand. Felt bit duped by TJ for first time.
Drunk on power. Judgemental staff. Insufferable hipsters. Lots of useful idiots paving a road to hell with good intentions.
Such a barf "scene". I want eggs not a judgemental look from some 20yr old kid who knows everything. I avoided this store for most of 2020.insufferable staff.
Only complaint about the place? The veggies and some fruit in plastic. Not sustainable or green. As its parent company is German owned - the European leader in green sustainability - I'm surprised of the unsustainable and non green packaging. Schämen Sie sich gar nicht? Bring back the free little cups of coffee, as it's necessary to wash the bad taste of plastic captured smelling fruits and vegetables out of my mouth, nostrils and throat. Um Gotteswillen.
Veggies, fruits, Bread, cheese, meat, poultry, dairy products and Wine. Good quality, Right price. I'll continue shopping there for many years. I love it!
Great store, clean, gets busy sometimes. Could use better customer service.
I was walking up to available register to checkout, when cashier lady said that she will serve the man behind me first. When I asked why, she said “I called him first” while I clearly saw she didn’t ️
Trader Joe's is always a good experience. The organization of the products, the friendliness of the staff and today in particular my cash register attendant (Jesse) was so nice and easy to talk to
What's not to like? ! It's TJs. Staff is polite and helpful. One star off because they are making the staff do major stock during business hours. It makes some of the aisles difficult to navigate.
For years I've wished the palce to stop packaging veggies and fruits in plasrux, carry red cabbage and more kosher products year round, instead of only on Chanukah and Passover.
Great Trader Joe’s that gets knocked down to 3 stars because the area has become so run-down and unsafe. Many abandoned store-fronts now, like Muji being closed across street. Houseless Encampments nearby — one individual followed us all the way into the TJ’s parking area.
TJ’s is super selective in their real estate decisions, and it just goes to show they couldn’t imagine this area getting so bad over just a few years.
Our elected officials have failed us, and great storefronts like TJ’s who invested in the area, should not have to suffer
Maybe TJ’s can implore the block to invest in more personal security to ensure their customer’s safety for a more pleasant shopping experience
This is a marvelously put together grocery. Mostly organic with that homegrown feeling. The wonderful catch here is their selection of great plants and flowers and if there not known to you already. Just remember them for the fabulous tulips!
Easy parking, never a line, never smells like pee outside, never asked for food or money either, always can find the recently discontinued item (That I love!) and the produce is the cheapest in the city. Great liquor section too! Seriously tho, Trader Joe's does it right.
Hate the racial profiling here. Had to get some supplies for a client and kept being followed around by 2 securities like I was doing something wrong. Never going back!
Big Traees Joe’s in the heart of downtown conveniently located right off Market street. Come in to pick up sandwiches, humus, veggies and snacks for lunch or ingredients for your dinner. Organic fruits and vegetables are a bargain as are the vast selection of plants and flowers which make great gifts.
If you like wine or beer take a look at their selection in the room in the back.
Keep an eye out for their seasonal items - once they run out you’ll have to wait until next year.
