Travelodge by Wyndham Bishop

This was an awesome minimal hotel! It has everything we needed and was great to come back to after climbing. The hot water was not super hot which was a little disappointing, the breakfast was not good at all (bagels, cereal, coffee and hard boiled eggs) so we didn't eat breakfast there at all. The only other thing that really bothered me was our room was by the check in window and it was extremely loud and woke me up several times! We would definitely stay here again, though! The front desk staff were super awesome and helpful and the location was great.

Stayed here for 4 nights (Monday-Friday) at approximately $80 a night. The room is a solid 3.5/5. At that price compared to other hotels in the area, I consider this hotel to be worth it. The price per night will always be more expensive on the weekend, but it's a bit unfair to judge a hotel on the price per night individually. The A/C was a bit loud but it can be a bit like white noise if you have ear plugs. I would just turn on the heat a bit higher than I normally would like before I went to sleep, and turn it off right before I went to sleep. This is during peak skiing/snowboarding season, so I would wake up a bit cold an hour before my alarm. The floor was dirty. Not absolutely filthy, but definitely needs to be shampooed. Breakfast is just coffee, hot water, instant oatmeal, bagels, and hardboiled eggs.

Pros: Cheaper than other hotels, comfortable enough bed/pillows, friendly staff.

Cons: Dirty floor, loud A/C, meager breakfast.

Left me on hold for 30 minutes after telling me they had rooms available. When I called back they were full.

Room was a joke. Heater worked horribly, tv didn’t work, worst pillows I’ve ever slept on, super thin walls could hear everything. Wasn’t expecting a nice room but for $167 I expected better than a $50 gross motel room. Staff was friendly I’ll give em that!

Nice little hotel. Don't expect this to be a 5 star hotel. But it's great with nice people, rooms are Captain daily, customer service is really nice, we have tea and light breakfast for you every morning, it's a really nice place in town. Prices affordable under $200 A-day. No elevator if ur family or friends can't use stairs, make sure to book in advance for handicap rooms downstairs.

A nice place to stay and rest if you are on your way back to LA from Mammoth. It's not located on the big street so it's quiet. You park right outside your room which makes it convenient. The room is clean with all the amenities need for a stay over spot Your stay also includes breakfast as well and room rate is decent for a small town like Bishop.

Awful, do not stay here. The AC cools only the corner in which t resides. It emitted smoke and failed at 5AM. The beds suck. The breakfast is a joke. Just all around bad.

Friendly staff and clean rooms, also have a nice fish cleaning station and freezer for your fish also nice little area for a BBQ in the back of hotel

Just went there this past week and had a horrible experience, first the room was nothing like the pictures, it was extremely small. When we booked it we were told it was a suite with 2 rooms, with 1 king bed n 2 queen beds along w a kitchen. Well this was not the case at all, like i said the first room was small and 2nd room was what appeared to be a walk in closet with 2 twin beds, and to top it off the room was filthy, the carpet was disgusting, i didnt want my kids even stepping on it, and there was bugs on the ceiling. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Then we tell this to the guy at th he desk and he was no help at all, said he didn't know what to do and that he could wipe the bugs off the ceiling for us if that was the problem. The nerve. And he refused to give us a refund so we had to go through the credit card company. Anyway I don't recommend this place at all, if I could give it zero starts I would

Rooms smell. My sisters room and my rim both smelled. It’s so loud you hear every little thing. And for what ever reason it’s so bright out side at night it’s not dark in the rooms at night. It would be okay if it was a $99 room and not a $205 room. I’m so tired from not getting any sleep. And the beds suck they are hard. I have two stars because at least the staff was friendly.

The breakfast is nothing, its lidicrous. Only water was available, no juices at all. No waffles, no sousages, nothing, just cold boiled eggs. Its better to have a breakfast in the neighbouhood, McDonalds.

Not very welcoming. Very small pillows. Hairdryer broken. Cleaning staff helpful. Gave us one extra pillow when asked.
