Place smells bad as well shower extremely small and not clean very disappointing the beds are like rocks terrible, I asked for a refund as soon as we walked in the lady at the counter refused worst hotel I've ever been to please avoid at all cost

I liked the place. The room was small but very clean. Yes, it needs remodeling but everything still worked very well. And I really liked how clean it was. I would return for sure.

This place smells like raw sewage in the room with a gentle yet lasting after tone of urine near the night stand in room 204. I would Not recommend this place for people with asthma and also, I wouldn't let young children like toddlers or babies crawl around in this place either. We made sure to not take our shoes off and we sanitized our luggage when we left. It's unsafe. Oh, and mosquitoes were awful because the weather stripping was gone. Mildew! Oh, there was mildew in the room as well so I wouldn't recommend being in the room for extended periods of time.

This place is awful. I'll never trust Travel Lodge again.

The lobby advertises that they use hospital grade sanitizer on all high common contact items, like door handles, remote control, etc, right?

Nope. Dried food on the remote, hair on the shower door handle. The rooms are awful, the bed is a brick but the linens were clean.

Great location - plenty of closed food joints close by. Stores close kinda early. So, get your midnight snacks before 10PM.

I do Not recommend at all. Travelodge should be ashamed and I am going to report these findings to the health department. The raw sewage smell is horrible and headache worthy. I feel sick.

HORRIBLEEEEEEE! Don't come to this place. My family and I were going to stay one night, we didn't last half an hour and we had already had 5 COCKROACHES, on the walls, on the furniture, on the beds and pillows. We left IMMEDIATELY to find another place. I do not recommend it at all!

Make sure you’re up to date on all vaccinations before staying here! If You like your toilet paper sitting on rust! Oh and don’t forget you don’t get hot water during your stay here and when you call to notify management they do nothing not even a refund on your room even when children are staying in the room. I really hope they like the LA housing authority yeah I reported you:) I waited a month for management to contact me no response. Run this place needs to be condemned. Oh and flicking lights and pissed stained carpets. If I could give zero stars I would.

It's a Travelodge, don't expect much.
Having said that, the hotel was ok. The staff was friendly, the pool looked clean, the bed was firm but comfortable, my room looked clean. A bit old and could use some TLC but it did the job. The shower was small but the water was comfortable, place was quiet and there's a Target maybe a minute away to get stuff from. I didn't feel unsafe at all.
Only taking one star because they have NO outlets. I had to unplug lamps and clocks to charge my stuff. And the AC was incredibly loud in my room. Felt good but it didn't elp when I tried to sleep.
Couldn't figure out how to turn off the TV for the life of me, it kept turning back on.
They also advertise airport shuttle but that's not true, along with other amenities that they say they have but they don't (I believe complimentary breakfast is another one).
It's a good place for a quick rest and keep going. Remember that this is not a 5 star hotel.

I stayed here with my mom when we went to Universal Hollywood for a couple days. Honestly, dispite all the negative reviews here, the room we stayed in was not bad! The front desk people were nice too! Im only taking one star away cause when I called before to confirm something, nobody answered no matter how many times I called. All in all though, its a decent little hotel, if your on a budget. Just work on picking up the phones when someone calls. I'd stay here again

Basic lodging but it's clean and it works. We enjoyed our stay. The Travelodge is in an interesting neighborhood with a Target directly across the street. Porto's Bakery, the best bakery in Los Angeles, is a short walk away.

Woman didn’t seem to understand English and maybe that’s why she seemed rude but either way it was not a pleasant experience. She also took like 1 hr to find the booking and give us a room we booked ahead of time

$200 for one night for THAT? !? !? ! INSANE! We were in Room 101. The shower door didn't latch AT ALL and letting the water run 10-15 minutes in order for the water to heat up is rather inconvenient. The "closet" door had no knob. No iron, nor ironing board as advertised. Plug ins to charge your devices? Forget about that, too. The key card door scanner continuously malfunctioned. The deadbolt would not turn in order to lock the door. If you want breakfast, you'll have to go get it as they advertise it, yet there is none. WiFi was spotty (we were closest to the router/signal booster). The parking lot was one way in/out. As in together. With NO space to turn around to leave. You have to back out into a VERY busy street if you use the main parking area (we had to due to having a moving van and the area is sketchy, at best). Safety is a HUGE concern here.

It may be near Universal, but it is NOT worth $200! The only decent things were the bed, pillows, and the fact that DoorDash delivers here. Just down the block from a Target with the smallest parking lot I've ever seen. I could have walked there for what we needed, but again, sketchy. The only safe time is daytime.maybe.

Husband and I stay in a lot of hotels due to motorcycle travels and such. I would rather sleep on the ground, in the desert than stay here again. NOT A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE HOTEL. NO WALK-IN SHOWERS NOR BATH TUBS WITH SAFETY BARS. ROOM DOORS ARE NOT WIDE ENOUGH FOR WHEELCHAIRS!

The owner was very rude and she did not help at all the room have termites and the light do not work and the bed they never clean and had hair on them I will not recommend this place to no one and among going to call the bbb on them am from yuma az 85364

Considedering the price it is a great motel. Walking distance with many places and is located within a great part of the city.

You can smoke in the room but the ac don't work definitely a hole in the wall it's a vibe tho

The room smelled bad as we walked in. Bathtub was very dirty. There was no outlet in the room besides the one in the shower. Would rather put up a clean tent than spend any penny there.

This was worst room ever. I just wanted out, felt like a scary movie. Bathroom was tiny. Shower was a tiny cubby and rusted, blocks under the dresser to level it, smelly and wall near floor was caving in. Paint chipped all over the room. Just awful. Nothing like the pictures. The checkin was not a lobby like pics show, it was a walk up window.

Invest 20 dollars more and go somewhere else, very dirty hotel, stinky carpet, passing hotel. We arrived, checked in, saw the room and better left.

It’s really gross in the room. A double bead means a full size bed and a non smoking room mean smell like the inside of a moldy pool towel. We left asap. Overall just gross do not recommend for any price.
