Travelodge by Wyndham Palm Springs

We needed a bed for the night. That is what we got. Would not recommend for a long stay but if you need an inexpensive bed for a night or two, it is a good price for the area. The bed was a little soft. We could actually hear our neighbors flipping the light switches. It was clean and other than the adjoining rooms noises, was quiet. The staff is not particularly friendly but we did not have any issues.

There's a heavy leak in the ceiling above the shower.squashed roaches on the walls, black mold behind the wallpaper, weird stains on the chairs and walls, the ac unit isn't insulated and I can see right outside when looking directly at the unit. Its uninhabitable; The carpet is piss ridden and dirty.
I had stayed at the hotel for about a week and on the day of checkout had accidentally woken up late. I called the front desk and was told I had until 1pm. If I was any later than 1pm they were going to have to keep my deposit of $150. I know for a fact that they do not have to keep anyone's deposit. They choose to keep the deposit. Not to mention that I did tell the manager about the mold and roaches. House keeping was sent over to inspect the room.
I was told by housekeeping that my room would be changed and to wait for a call to let me know the room was ready.
3 hours later I called the front desk and was told that house keeping has reported the room I was in as "nothing wrong. " House keeping had told the management that there was nothing wrong with the room! I couldn't believe it.
I insisted on changing the room and that housekeeping had lied, but the person I had spoken to just said that I could change my room and nothing more was done about it. I tried my best to explain my situation to the manager one last time before checking out but all I was given was a sorry and no deposit.

There was blood on the sheets. It certainly wasn't deluxe, but I count it as a win that we did not spot bed bugs. Rooms are dated, & maintenance lacking but the price was decent.

The photos on the website are a total lie. The room smells like a combination of mildew and cat pee. There’s only one plug/outlet. You have to unplug the fridge if you need to use the microwave and vice versa. The carpet is so dirty that it’s sticky, which sucks when you have a toddler. The water pressure is terrible so if you need to shower… that sucks. Honestly, just spend the money and stay somewhere else. I wish I had!

I booked this online and it looked pretty decent in the photos. I paid for 4 nights and ended up staying one and leaving. There was a shirtless man in front of our door just hanging out. Our neighbors were loud and the walls were thin. There is a door that connects to a different room which is weird. Everything is out dated. The hot tub is COLD and the carpet is sticky and gross. There are pot holes every where. Our neighbor had the door open one inch and pitch black in his room when we walked by.he was just staring outside in the evening. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe so we checked out the next day. This motel doesn't want to refund me for the other 2 nights I paid for! I checked out before 11 am and they won't refund me. DONT STAY HERE. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN

Rooms are basic but clean, no bugs, roaches, ect. Service is acceptable you just have to find a staff member. Location is easy to get to from the 111 and close to shopping, food, entertainment.

The room had food on the chair and I wasn't able to contact front desk due to phone in the room had no dial tone. Which took service from hotel experience.

Reasonable priced because it is a dump. Dog feces all over the grounds. My room had paint peeling in several spots, exposed wood decay, mold around the tub and shower and horrible bug issues. The lighting was poor for the parking spaces. Did not feel safe.

This location and my room was nice, clean and quiet. The mattress was too firm for me to sleep well, the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Service was very good.

I typically go to Motel 6 when traveling to Palm Springs but decided to pay a little extra and go with Travelodge.location is perfect, rooms the property needs to be renovated. My room was in need of new wallpaper, furniture and the like. Other than that would stay here again if updated.

It is a little dated but the overall upkeep and cleanliness of both the room and the grounds was like a breath of fresh air. Did not have to worry about walking around in the room barefoot as I do in some motels.
All in all, it is a good place for a good price and the staff were great!

Do NOT STAY. Unsafe, filthy, shocking. Trust the other reviews. We had to check out early as it was unsafe and due to unacceptable standards of cleanliness and state of the property. Truly shocking that the Wyndham name is on this. Don’t trust it, you will regret it.

Rooms smelled really bad nearly making me throw up, had to cancel and book a different hotel for my stay. Ladies at the front desk were great and understanding tho

I'm trying to think of something nice to say. The pool appeared clean and the jacuzzi was hot. The sheets seem clean. Otherwise, this place is a complete dump. Easily one of the grossest hotels in which I've ever stayed. The musty old cigarette smell is overwhelming. The ceiling is stained with who-knows-what. The air coming out of the ac unit smells moldy. The shower curtain won't stay closed because the rod is broken. You really do get what you pay for.

Seemed to be in a not a so nice part of town. Night Security and the lady on the office were great.

Bed bugs bad got ate up for 2 nights and they called me crazy and no refund. Nasty rude people avoid this place

Their gym is closed and they still refuse to cancel my reservation.
Horrible customer service.
I booked because I needed a place where I could use the gym.

The staff at this hotel lack empathy and did not allow me to cancel my booking or get my money back following an emergency. I basically begged and they declined to refund me, I was not able to stay even though I paid full price. Very disappointing.

The worst stay of our three week driving vacation. Noisy, run down room. Little sleep. Front desk was pleasant, but said some hotels are just that way.
