5Really love this spot. I’m glad that the construction preventing the view of the city has been finished for the most part. It was definitely a bummer before when I tried taking pictures and couldn’t but this time I could.

Staff are friendly, chill. Harbor Master is former Coastguard extremely knowledgeable about local conditions, hazards (e.g. Berkely Pier, sand bars to get stuck on due to lack of dredging in SF Bay such as right as you come into the Treasure Island harbor on your way to the docks, where are the channel markers red right returning come on guys - someone plz add name and contact info for Director of whatever agency is in charge of this mess n HMI I'll fix it thnx). Enter and exit harbor only within +- 3-6 hours of high tide or bring plenty of Tequila u will be stuck 50% chance / end rant credit Linus Torvalds Linux mailing lists and El Reg
Even with the construction, I live here on the Island and get fabulous shots.
Needs a facelift, but a great location. Beach is now only accessible by boat.
