Trebek Open Space reviews
20This is a great place to hike, with a wonderful view, wide open spaces and several paths to choose from.
This trail is great. A very easy hike, but the end trail is worth it. Great viewing areas of the city with minimal people on the trail with you.
This Was My first Time Going Here And All I Got To Say Is That This Place Is Goated 10/10 Stars
This is a great place to go for a leisurely hike. The view is gorgeous, they have public bathrooms (and they're actually pretty clean!), a store with a small coffee shop inside with some beverages and snack options, and you get gorgeous views of the ocean, Sutro Baths, and on a clear day, the Golden Gate Bridge.
Came with with my dog on a Saturday's Morning. The weather was so nice on that day. It was a warm and sunny day. Therefore a lot of people were there already in the morning. Parking was pretty easy there.
A quiet place and a good length for a walk. I don't want to go tell everyone, because I don't want to make it too popular. I love it being a good neighborhood secret spot.
Gorgeous walk along the coast where you can see beautiful wild flowers, plants, wildlife, huge waves, and cute dogs. Definitely recommend it! It's beautiful when it's sunny, but also very fun when it's foggy or rainy.
It was simply perfect today.not too warm, and not too cold. Everybody and his mother was sunning at China and Baker Beach, it seemed. Fun to see the cargo ships and watch the sailboats floating to and fro.
This is a beautiful "secret" spot to enjoy within miles away from the city. This is also near the Cliff House where you can enjoy the food and scenery. At the Cliff House you are surrounded by the beauty of an ocean view, a fisherman, and the Sutro baths.
I must be out of shape since the trail was not easy peasy and I must have misread the reviews since the labyrinth was not close by. In fact, it was hidden and we didn't get to see it.
There is everything in this hike. Views, ability to go on trail runs, take your kid on a stroller or just look at the views and get lost in another world all together!
My friends and I came here to take a bunch of pictures. There were various trails to choose from. It was a nice and beautiful day to enjoy mother nature. Thank goodness from friendly people and cute puppies to make our hike fun. We found a couple of gems on the trail. If you go on this trail try to find them!
I really like this trail. It's super easy to get to via both public transpo via the 38 or 38L and there is bountiful, easy parking for those who want to drive in. The trails and views are magical and if you venture out to Eagle's Point you get to enjoy the hand-made labyrinth!
Loved this hiking trail! There are parking lots as well as street parking. We got lucky, even though it was busy. Just follow the people around to their parking spots.
Note: The Land's End Labyrinth no longer exists. I have no idea when it got destroyed, but there's a sad little mock-up that someone tried to make in its stead and sadly no more than 10 feet away, someone had made a giant awkward cartoonish looking p*nis next to it. I was so heartbroken as I've been hoping to see the labyrinth after all these years. Imagine my disappointment when I came around the overlooking rock to find.an awful mockup and a giant p*nis. (I went on 8-9 July 2013.)
I absolutely love this trail, and can not wait to come back on a day when it is not raining. It has some of the best views in the city and the trail is not very strenuous. Dogs can be walked along the trail as long as they are on their leash. Come early so you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot. Parking is FREE! There is a restroom at the start of the trail, and if you are adventurous you could explore China Beach when you reach the end before you turn around to head back.
I wish I had known about this place sooner. I will be returning. The trail is easy enough for beginners, but was still a good work out. I appreciate the visitors center and restrooms were clean. There were plenty of places to go eat after my hike.
AUGUST 2-15 From what others have told me, Land End's Labyrinth has been destroyed because of vandalism. I don't know the situation on rebuilding, but want to let others know. DON'T DESTROY ARTWORK. PLEASE.
We drove to Land's End and hiked this trail. It was fairly easy and enjoyable. The view during this trail was amazing! You would get a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge at several viewpoints. If you are looking for Land's End labyrinth, take the trail to the beach and you will find it.
I came here on Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but everyone keep their distance as the CoronaVirus outbreak. Going down the hike is pretty easy but as you tried to go back up especially with those steps is pretty challenging if you never been walking on steps!
