Tres Muchachos Seafood Grill, Costa Mesa CA

One of my favorite local spots for any time of day — they serve brunch as long as they stay open. My favorite dish is the seafood and homemade chorizo pasta.

The hummus here is a must have! We stopped in here last month for dinner and had a delicious meal. We ordered the octopus ceviche and tacos however the server dropped off the hummus as a surprise to start and it was incredible. The paprika and chimichurri on top added such a unique flavour that I couldn’t even wait to take a picture before I ate half of it!

They close at 9pm on Sunday and they don't let people in at 8pm not a good work ethic

Food was delightful and the team was extremely friendly. Highly recommend. Take a quick detour off the beach and come eat here.

This place is a gem! We stopped here on a whim for my birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. The cioppino was perfectly seasoned and presented. They did extra samplings for me for my birthday just for fun! The artichoke hummus was delicious and the chocolate mousse was a defect finish. Definitely a repeat when we come back to Cali!

About 8 of us dined at Tres Muchachos last night, 3 moms and 3 sons. We had a fantastic night and the food was out of this world. The service was incredible and they were so accommodating. Tuna carpaccio, ceviche, and relleno were the best. Definitely give them a try!

Amazing service! My boyfriend and I came here to grab a drink before a local dinner reservation. They not only poured me an extra large glass of champagne and turned on the outdoor heaters for us but turns out I left my purse on the back of the chair and one of the employees was able to find me at a restaurant across the entire parking lot to bring it back. Im so impressed with this restaurant- I will definitely be back!

Wow, what a fantastic place. Great service great staff, and incredible food. I love the perfect shrimp tacos. But I really want to try some of the appetizers.

Best service, Alejandro treats everyone like a genuine friend. The food is incredible and that’s coming from a spoiled San Diego foodie! I haven’t been able to find anything chef owned and incredible since moving to OC and this is it. The restaurant has such a great vibe AND an incredible wine selection!

You cannot beat Tres Muchachos for dine-in or takeout. Food is amazing and the staff is the best.

Very good food. We ordered the Tuna Melt, the Pork Belly Tacos and the El Pastor Tacos.
The price is more on the higher scale, but the ingredients are extremely fresh and unique.

I have Allergies and those were absolutely respected. Very kind of the Chefs.

The Tuna Melt is huge. It would be perfect to split. The flavor was more fishy then expected but still very good, there was a big amount of Avocado in the Sandwich - perfect!
The fries could've been a little bit more crunchy.

The Pork Belly Tacos are FANTASTIC, the flavors so well combined. A tangy sweetness, but then the crisp of the Pork Belly and the freshness of the Heirloom Baby Tomatoes. It could've had a tidge more cheese. But it was still so good!
The Fingerling Potatoes my favorite.

The El Pastor Tacos were good Flavorwise but the meat a little more dry. The Tomatoes were a good addition to it. I loved the Salad that came with it.

The hidden gem of Costa Mesa. Fantastic food, even more fantastic people, and beautiful ambience. You really feel at home here and taken care of. My wife and I wish we found this place earlier! One of the few restaurants we continue to go back to again and again.

I found this hidden gem when I visited Costa Mesa. If you are in the area you cannot miss out.

Their entire menu is filled with mouth-watering entrees and appetizers. I tried their octopus tostada, and it is one of the best ceviches I’ve had. It was full of flavor, refreshing, and had an amazing presentation.

I was greeted by their friendly staff and quickly served. Even the chef came out to check on the customers. Everyone was so friendly and the chef even brought me a sample of their appetizer.

I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of their food!
