I suggest you review the menu before going … it is a fixed menu with two options for each of three courses. We were able to order everything and share. First course corn soup was the star of the meal. The mushroom risotto was well prepared. Our main course was a cod in a miso eggplant glaze (very good) and duck confit (really enjoyed). We enjoyed the dishes but we didn’t care for the accompanying veggies. Our desserts did not disappoint and the winner was a pineapple ice cream served with macadamia nuts. Highly recommend as the service was very attentive.

It's hard to be at a $39 dollar tasting menu in SF that also features a rotating menu and the most incredible bread I've ever eaten.

We came for my brother's birthday and we had an amazing time. $39 gets you an appetizer, a main, and dessert. They also have $12 pastas that you can add to your meal, and I highly recommend it. Bread is available upon request. Definitely request it. It comes from Firebrand Bakery in Oakland and it's the most amazing sourdough.

On the night we went, they were serving a potato parsnip chowder that had smoked bacon, salmon roe, etc, in the bowl, and then tableside, they pour the soup in. I asked them to give me a second before pouring the soup in so I could get my video for Instagram, and they said okay, then poured the soup while I was setting up. It happened twice. I never did get the video I wanted.

We got both pastas that night. One was a winter squash risotto with chanterelle, burrata, and maple balsamic reduction. I guess it's not quite a pasta, but it was delicious. The other pasta was a pappaardelle bolognese and the pasta was so smooth and silky and wonderful.

I had the seared bistro steak with roasted beet, spigarello kale, and chimichurri as my main. Honestly, I'd rather have had more pasta instead of my main. The steak was okay, but nothing that blew me away.

For dessert, I had an apple cobbler with pecan oat crumble and BAY LEAF ICE CREAM. Would I say it's my new favorite ice cream flavor? No. Was it interesting? Yes. Did I keep eating it? Also yes.

All in all a very enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price point.

Delicious prix fixe meal of simplicity but elegance. $39 base price as of 9/25/22, but I ended up spending $200 for 2 people with a $60 bottle of wine and the pasta supplement.

Lovely service team, and fantastic that the menu changes frequently. Keeps me wanting to come back!

Can't say enough good things about Trestle. The fixed price menu is awesome value for the quality and amount of food you get, and the service is fantastic. Attentive, but by no means oppressive.

Definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Great ambiance and price for a prix fixe meal. We went here on Christmas Eve and the food was delicious.

Forgot to review this place a while back to be honest. It had been on my "must try" list for quite a bit and when went, I expected to be let down but wasn't somehowW which is rare when there's been that much anticipation. Everything we had was really inventive and well prepared, with no dips in quality throughout the meal. Service was pro, no complaints. All in all, recommend Trestle quite a bit. Only downside was the wait, it's a small and popular place so be prepared for that.

(Party of 2, couple). We were treated to the 3 course fixed price menu. All the flavours combined really well together, the cheese and crouton in the Cesar offering a bit of bite to balance the rest of the dish. The only drawback we could think of with the meals was the cabbage in the salad came as one gigantic chunk, rather than dispersed across the plate. Despite that, the entree and dessert were both delicious! I loved the dark chocolate pearls adorning the mousse. All meals were appropriately sized so we left feeling a good level of full. Service was outstanding all night, we were waited on when we needed, but the staff didn’t hover unnecessarily. If you’re looking for a fancier, date style night (or to celebrate an occasion) and willing to foot the extra cost compared to everyday dining - we would highly recommend Trestle!

12-4-2022 – Loved their pre-fix. What lovely ambiance, great service and gourmet meal for only $39/person (3 courses). I opted to get the extra course ($12 extra) and it turned out to be too much food.

Make sure you order their bread (served by request only). It was served hot with butter. I could have gone home after that very happy.

- Citrus & Cashew Salad – Amazing flavors. Each bit was something different
- Carrot & Ginger Soup – The presentation was very stylish. They bring the bowl with some vegetables and pour the hot soup on top at the table.
- Roasted Parsnip Risotto – So buttery and yummy
- Roasted Black Cod – Cooked perfectly and loved the vegetables
- Apple Cobbler – Like the fact that the fruit was not all mushy.
- Dark Chocolate Cake - Was not able to do justice to this as I was stuffed by this time.

Basically between my hubby and me, we had almost everything on the menu. We both had Cod as the main as the other option was Duck and we are not great fans of Duck.

Will go back with the next seasonal menu come in.

It’s amazing how they can serve such an incredible meal for that price. They were very accommodating for my friend’s gluten allergy as well. Will be back next time I’m in town

I love this place to death! I have been here a handful of times and every time it amazes me. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu changes all the time but it's still great no matter what they offer. I would say this place is a must try at least once.

The food, service, and ambiance were truly great! Very much enjoyed the time there and the wines were also delicious. If you want to enjoy an evening, definitely come to Trestle!

Phenomenal food, and impeccable service.

The only downside to this restaurant is the uninspiring art on the walls, and the tight space sometimes creates a loud atmosphere, though this depends more on the other dinners than it does on the establishment.

While we were visiting SF we decided to visit Trestle restaurant as it was recommended by envibe app and have no regrets about it  The food was tasty (Pumpkin Bolognese is something should try), good service, and nice prices as well.

Beet risotto with shrimp, pumpkin bolognese, pan seared sole, and creamy mushroom soup from the $39+prix fixe menu our group enjoyed on Saturday evening in SF

The pasta courses are a $12 supplement but definitely worth it. However, be sure to arrive hungry as the four courses are definitely filling. And yes, the beet risotto does look peptobismolesque - still was delicious.

I was a little bit worried about food prices in SF since everyone says is a very expensive city. We flu from Miami and we had our first dinner at Trestle and we couldn't be happier aboutour first night. They have a 3 course menu dinner for 45 bucks. You can add the Risotto or pasta for 12 extra which is good. I am amazed about their service. They are on top or every detail and how give their customers the best experience ever, and we certainly had a wonderful experience here. Very tasty and delicious food, a bomb of flavors and delicacy at the same time in a cozy atmosphere. Fantastic experience definitely.
