I love Annadel! Best mountain biking trails around that i know of. Recently went hiking with my new favorite friend around kake Ilsanjo from the Parktrail entrance via the creek trail and back again. We went ast dark and were able to make it out of rhe park safely. The kake had been drained way down for repairs on the damn which was a surprise to me. I hooe there will be more rain and it will refill so my favirite swim spot will be enjoyable this summer on hot hikes and bikes. Enjoy I highly recommend this place for outdoor adventurism.

It's a great place to walk or run with good Hills that build up your conditioning. There's always something to see, and the wildlife come right to the trail. Today it was quite hot there probably over 90 degrees.

A great place for bikers, or hikers who enjoy a more sparse environment. This has plenty of fields studded with large rocks and oak trees, if you're ready to ascend the mountain.

Excellent trails! Great for hiking, biking, horseback riding, or whatever it is that you do in the woods.

Took cobblestone trail loop from Channel Dr. Great easy to moderate hike. Almost 5 miles and 550' elevation gain. Mostly shaded until the meadow at the top. Beautiful

Annadel State Park is a gem. You can start in Santa Rosa and end if in Kenwood if you hike or ride far enough. Easy to very difficult terrain for mountain biking. Horses are allowed in the park. Many joggers and hikers. Hard clay trails mixed with cobble stone and hella rocks in the quarry. Lake Ilsanjo is a nice place to jump into and cool off on a hot summer day. Plenty of shade under the oak trees. Watch out for ticks and poison oak.

Annadel State Park has always been one of my favorite parks that is near a medium sized city. Beautiful ecosystems with different types of natural forests depending on where you go. This is also a great place to use your mountain bikes with trails of varying difficulty. But.a lot has been burned down due to the recent fires. Hopefully, it will begin to heal and regenerate, and go back to it's former glory.

As a trail runner, hiker, fisher and family man this place has it ALL. Absolutely beautiful after the rains and can't wait to explore every single trail in the park.

I'm an amateur hiker and only went about 1/2 hour up Cobblestone Trail but wow is this a beautiful place: intermittent shade from beautiful oak trees, expansive meadows, and (I'm told) a lake further up the hill. It's totally pristine-I didn't see one piece of trash anywhere. I passed friendly hikers and bikers. Service dogs only. Accessible portapotty in the (free) parking lot only. Next time I'll pack a picnic and go further. Definitely bring water with you and a cell phone, just in case. The trails are cleared but watch out for poison oak-it's everywhere.

We went on a really lovely 5 mile hike today. Lots of ups and downs, with lots of woodland, meadows and pretty glades. Spectacular views of the city that is right close by, but you feel like you're in another world! Pretty wildflowers, beautiful green grass, trees and moss, the sounds of nature and sunshine pouring down all around. You can't get better than that! One note of caution - the poison oak is PROLIFIC this year, and quite close to the trails. And the ticks are out! But the hike was well worth it.

My absolute favorite place to hike any where in the country. So many different native plants and natural ecosystems. I love taking the Spring Creek Trail up to Lake Ilsanjo and taking a celebratory swim. Many miles of beautiful hiking in the rolling hills.

This is a hiker's park. While bikes are permitted, the real enjoyment comes from hiking the miles of trail. The trails are varied and bring joy to the basic, moderate and high types of hikers. While the October '17 wildfires did a lot of damage, mother earth has brought the park back to much new growth. This spring the wildflowers were extremely large in numbers. One can once again hike for great views of Sonoma County. The park now connects to Jack London State Park and the Ridge Trail that goes into Marin County.
