Trivium Games reviews
18I’ve done a LOT of escape rooms. This one hits all the marks: original design and concept, immaculate immersive design, lots of well crafted puzzles, and extremely rewarding and fun! We did it with a group of four which felt perfect for the size of the space. The only con I can think of is that there is currently only one room. If they had a second room we would have dove right into it after finishing this room.
I highly recommend Ghost Patrol! I've been to about 15 escape rooms and this was one of the best ones in the Bay Area. I went with my wife's family, in a group of 7, most of whom had limited escape room experience. The production value was great, with fun lights and sounds. The story was easy to follow, fun and approachable. The actual puzzles were great too - there were a ton of fun moments, and though some of them were tricky, none of them felt overwhelmingly daunting. Others have said it was a great first escape room, and I agree, I think it's ideal for a group that's new to escape rooms. Though our group was pretty new, we finished relatively quickly - in around 60 minutes out of the 90 with one hint. I definitely recommend the experience, and am looking forward to their future rooms!
Easily the best escape room I've ever done! Lots of different types of puzzles, and amazing production value! Staff were also super friendly and helpful!
Puzzles were varied and challenging. The production value made it an immersive experience. Our group really enjoyed themselves. Would recommend!
As someone with a lot of escape rooms under his belt, I can say that this is one of the best rooms I’ve experienced - instead of relying on extremely out-there puzzles or huge mechanical complexities in a shallow attempt to innovate, it instead packs its surprises into nailing the subtler elements of its execution. You’ll think outside the box; you’ll retread your steps, and you’ll look at things you’ve seen before in a new way here. In addition, the focus on “having fun, experiencing the full room” rather than “try to get out or fail trying” is a welcome change for novices and pros alike.
Now on our Top 5 list. (Group of 4 adults and 1 child) I love how they added a scavenger hunt for my kid while we solved the puzzles. They also added some birthday touches to our game! This place had amazing puzzles, great vibes, and little extra touches to make it worth the drive!
Exceptional game! Beautiful story, delightful humour, very cool and original interactions and generally a great gameflow! One of my top 20 favourites in the world (out of 300+ played)
Ghost patrol was my third escape room based on a recommendation from a friend who's done several. I was told ghost patrol is one of the best around and I wholeheartedly agree. The theme, puzzles, and overall experience is such a treat. Our game master, Harry, was fantastic. We went as a group of 8, which I think is the most you'd want to do this room with. Even so, there was enough for everyone to do and collaborate on. Would strongly recommend to new and experienced players alike. Great place to celebrate a special occasion! Thanks again and looking forward to the new escape room!
This is a lot of fun! And a great way to spend time with friends and family. Took my husband for his birthday and our group visited the ghost patrol escape room with four members in our team even though that is the minimum amount of people recommended I suggest that you bring a bigger group such as six to eight people cause their are so many appealing puzzles to solve. Highly recommend them!
I went through this escape room with my fellow nerd coworkers and we had a great time! We usually work remotely so it was great to do some bonding through the game. I'm sure it would be a lot of fun for a group of friends too!
This was my first time participating in an escape room. It was such a fun experience with a large group. Definitely recommend for team building! Highly recommend! Brad was fantastic, excellent customer service!
A good variety of different types of puzzles and well thought out. I also liked having a dedicated host, so we didn't get stuck and frustrated on a puzzle because of technical errors on our part.
Simply put, Ghost Patrol is magnificent escape room. The attention to detail in Trivium's work permeates every moment of the game. From the puzzles, to the sound, lighting, props, and on-boarding, excellence was constantly on display.
Ghost Patrol was a delightful escape room. The puzzles worked well collaboratively and I loved how one spatial puzzle built in complexity with a heart warming payoff.
One of the best room we’ve ever played. Really like the setup, decoration and atmosphere, and some of the puzzle is very unique. Looking forward for this next room!
The puzzles and special effects were top notch, super well done. We had 8 people and it felt like too many at first but we figured out how to parallelize and it ended up being great
Best evening! We had so much fun! Highly recommend. We just wish there were more rooms so we could go back! Tim was a great game master.
I've played over 30 escape rooms and this is one of the very best. We had a team of 10 people (way too big for most escape rooms) and still had a great time. The flow and puzzle design were second to none.
They're more expensive than the typical escape room but it's worth it for the memorable experience - especially if it's your first room or if you're taking friends or family to their first room. The gamemaster was friendly and welcoming and the execution was smooth as butter - no finicky sticky locks or equipment malfunctions here.
