I WANT TO THANK TDA FROM BALDWIN PARK FOR HELPING ME GET MY CDL, ESPECIALLY DONATO WHO WAS AN IMPORTANT PART IN THE SPECIFIC ADVICE AND TIPS HE GAVE ME, DONATO TEACHES YOU IN A WAY THAT SEEMS LIKE HE WAS THE SAME ONE WHO DOES HIS OWN CDL, HE IS SINCERE AND I RECOMMEND THAT YOU ASK ABOUT HIM, JUST AS I RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.
IT IS TRUE THAT THEY SHOULD TEACH YOU BECAUSE WE PAY THEM GOOD MONEY, BUT THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN THE TEACHING STYLE OF EACH OF THEM, BUT HE IS A GOOD INSTRUCTOR, NOW I AM PART OF THE WORLD OF COMMERCIAL TRUCK TRANSPORTATION.

I am so excited and it brings me great joy to be able to finally write this review. I loved everything about this school! Let me talk about my favorite instructors at the school first: Max and Donato.

Max was my favorite instructor to learn from in EVERYTHING. Any new skill or maneuver i had to learn, i went to him first. Max has the ability to explain anything whether it be with the parking maneuvers, inspections, or driving, with great ease and knowledge. I was never left confused or helpless with anything. Max is very patient, he stays with you until you grasp the material. He is very well experienced and knowledgeable and it shows. Max was the best instructor for me to learn from and ask questions about anything.

Donato is another favorite instructor of mine. Donato is also VERY knowledgeable. He helped me learn a lot of what i will encounter in the outside world. His knowledge helped me better understand how my vehicle moves and how to “feel” my trailer in which direction it is going to move. I also learned more in depth regarding the inspection of my vehicle. I learned more about the function of my truck and trailer and i also felt so prepared for my inspections that i felt as though i could recite them in both English AND Spanish haha! A few lessons and chats with him made me feel like truck driving would be my true profession. Donato is also the perfect person to ask questions regarding the DMV exams. A few days leading up to your test, I highly recommend going over everything with him. He prepares you very well.

Mario is the manager at the school and for good reason. Although he did not teach me the maneuvers, the inspections, or even to drive outside personally, this man has a special way of uplifting his students and giving them the confidence they need to keep pushing forward. He is very observant and knows where you would need to apply yourself more. Mario is very easy to talk to and is still very knowledgable and will always gladly answer any questions you have.

The rest of the staff is also still very friendly and just as skilled. The other instructors such as Rudy, Arthur, and Andrew deserve a special shoutout because they are also very knowledgeable and you can see why they are instructors. If they see you struggling with something they offer themselves to help and guide you. Matthew and Fridda work in the office and are both very kind and informative. Fridda’s encouraging words and cheerful smile made it pleasant to go to school.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at this school. I am glad i did my research and ultimately landed here. My advice to anyone debating on this school is to first know yourself and your learning style. I tend to be a fast learner but i ask A LOT of questions. Every question I asked were answered with wonderful explanations and immense knowledge. The school provides you the materials and resources you need to learn and achieve your license, the rest is up to you. If you know you struggle with memorization, make flash cards. If you struggle with the maneuvers, practice practice practice! The school and the instructors also provide you with YouTube videos to practice and review at home. They put their best efforts into helping you succeed but you have to be willing to put in just as much. At the end of the day the school can only do so much for you, it is up to the student to work hard. You are going to school to obtain a license that not everyone can obtain. Truck drivers are held to a higher standard on the road; as a student you should hold yourself to that standard to study and practice. This was the perfect school for me and i hope it is for you too.

Went there to see if they have any jobs available for instructor and the office staffs Mathiew is very friendly and helpful and the secretary rides a motorcycle and Super Mario is one of the smartest, intelligent, up-to-date man and he is a very good instructor out there and they are getting slow and not enough students and it's happening all over the trucking industry.

Great school and great trainers! I just got my license and I have to say that I owe it to everyone there. They take the time to explain things to you and they don’t mind it when you ask questions. They give you a good amount of hours and they have a lot of trucks so you can practice. I highly recommend this school to anyone out there looking to get their Class A. Thank you to everyone!

Went to TDA to get my CLASS A the instructors are very good and patient I passed my DMV test on my first try I recommend this school because they are open Monday thru Saturday from morning to afternoon and the trucks are good

Truly enjoyed the whole experience went to TDA not knowing how to drive a manual transmission thanks to the amazing patience of the staff got my CDL.really appreciate Donato and James for their guidance really recommend the school!

More than a comment is a question. My English is not the best, do you think that school can help me on that subject?

If you are looking for a school to get your Class A, TDA is as good as it gets.
They have enough trucks to practice on for any designated skill practice you are on.
The staff at the Baldwin park location is also top tier. You get 1on1 coaching throughout your entire time at the school.
If you need to get your Class A in 2 months or within 6 months it is entirely up to you. The opportunity and support is definitely there.

As for the instructors I’d like to thank you all for your patience and support throughout my entire course.

Instructor Rudy: is very knowledgeable and firm. For those people complaining about him, they need to get some thicker skin, at the end of the day Rudy has your best interest.

Instructor Max: taught me a lot on my outside driving, if I had a weakness I was working on he would take me out and focus on that until i perfected it.

Instructor James: very easy going and also very patient and is always willing to help.

Instructor Donato: He has a way of teaching that makes things easier, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and wants each driver to succeed to the best of their potential.

Instructor and Manager of the yard Mario: every time I was struggling on a particular skill I would speak to Mario who would take his time and teach me, but most importantly he would instill confidence in me that would allow me to carry on and get through.

There are a few new instructors that have been recently hired they are all great and knowledgeable.

I am grateful for each and every one of the instructors I had a chance to meet and work with. Because of you all, I was able to get my Class A.

TDA Baldwin Park is Top Tier.

Finally, I got my CDL class A! Thank you for all the instructors. They are very helpful and patient at teaching their students. The most importantly, the instructor "Rudy" not there anymore, so the school will be in the positive vibe. I know that you guys have read a lot of comments seeing Rudy's name. Don't worry he is not there anymore. There will be no grumpy instructor anymore haha. Keep the healthy inviroment guys! Good luck for all of the students out there!

TDA Baldwin Park treated me right. I got the knowledge I needed to get my CDL A manual transmission. Max is really good all around. Dornato is a really good trainer for alley dock and very good to help you if it is your first time for on the road training and is also very helpful if it is not your first time on the road training as well. I really got a lot of information to pass my DMV test from all of the instructors there and I am very grateful to ALL of them. Great school had a wonderful instructor named Aaron.hopefully he is still teaching he always had positive attitude and always willingness to stay after class to give a few extra pointers especially to those married women he had his special way with them.giving them especial attention and privileges.telling them what he can and will do for them.only takes advantage of his position as an instructor

Let me start by sharing that the efficient system implemented has all the value of the cost and more. The time I shared with colleagues was a professional experience with all the TDA staff.

I recommend that all men and women take the time to visit the Baldwin Park or Fontana school so that you can realize how organized and service the school provides to all students. You will realize how efficient and calm your experience will be in learning the regulations and how to efficiently drive trucks in accordance with DMV California laws.
