Ordered the fried chicken, fish and chips and shrimp ceviche. Everything tasted delicious. Also asked for a small side of butter and he gave me a whole stick. Great service and food!

Good place to get a chicken sandwich or a pre-made dinner plate. But it will cost you and the hours are weird.

UPDATE twice now the place is closed when it says on the door that it should be open. A major L. Food options haven’t changed in years. Lowering the rating.

Everything that I have ever bought from here, from sandwiches made to order to prawn enchiladas for dinner to their marinated rib eyes and prawn ceviche, has been extraordinary! They also have some interesting products from around the world as well as Ryze, a mushroom coffee.

I recommend asking for what you are getting before you buy. I spent $15 for a Mexican Torta” and it was not good. The ingredient were not listed on their menu, and once I got it it was just a small ciabatta bun, micro greens, beans, pork carnitas and salsa verde. The sandwich was small, unflavorful, and had the texture of a sloppy Joe.

Best fried chicken in town by far. I got some guacamole and chips here once and it was the best i'd ever had. I had never had gazpacho before, theirs was so delicious. Hard to go wrong!

Wide selection of salads, sandwiches, wines, cookbooks, olive oils, lots of fun pantry staples. Fresh deli items including carrot, vegetable salads, and some fresh king salmon from New Zealand. We didn't get hot food there, but we saw the fish and chips walk by and it looked delicious.

Excellent fried chicken sandwich!
The chicken was crispy but not oily, well cooked but still a bit juicy. It was not dry as it sometimes happens. Nothing was soggy. The coleslaw was not drowning in sauce and falling from everywhere. Will return!

Well prices were a little bit high. I guess everything is now. The food was good and the quantity was decent. We would definitely suggest coming here!

Creative and delicious food options for take away! This place 100% lives up to its great reviews, which wasn’t always my experience this weekend in Truckee. Salad was delicious. Fried chicken was amazing. The place itself is beautiful, and in addition to the made-to-order food options, they have plenty of fresh grab-and-go options and a very small market with wine, oils, spices, noodles, etc. You won’t be disappointed!
