What a lovely store! I never feel like I get the help I need when I am in the big box store, so finding this True Value was a delight. Needed painting supplies. Got exactly what I needed along with some nice chit chat. The employee I dealt with was friendly, without being pushy and made me feel like coming back to show her pictures of my finished project.

Friendly service. I was surprised about the price of items. They are lower than Lowe's.
Knowledgeable sales team.
Lowes and Home Depot were out of garden hoses. True value had them in stock.

I go to True Value to support the local retailers. The store is more expensive, but it's local and convenient. The last time I went in, the women was not very nice, and not user freindly. There never are many people shopping, but the employees make you feel that you are a bother. I have worked with the public for over 45 years. Your store, all employees, but maybe 2, need customer service work. They need training.
The receipt I have has the name Sam as the associate, but I don't think that was the lady's name. Rude! She needs to not work with the public or change her attitude. Very dissatisfied with the service that I receive there. I will stop by, 1 or 2 more times to see if it's better. Ive shopped there for many years and it's gone down hill each time I go.
It's too bad.

Excellent place on the high but they have the most odds of things I found an item that I have been trying to get? It was a great place to shop I could have gotten a discount for been a Senior on Sundays a place to shop.

Easy and convenient to get to. Employees are kind and very helpful. They carry items the corporate stores don't. And they are well stocked.

One of my FAVORITE hardware stores. Sometimes you go in - and - they will have some SPECTACULAR deal right by the door.but. I can find ANYTHING in there that I need, and, being a typical old guy - I need EVERYTHING. What a great toy store for old guys/gals alike.

This is a great place to shop as everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about what they have in the store.

These folks go above and beyond in service. The store is stocked not only with the usual stuff, but those hard to find items that you won't find at the big box hardwares. For whatever reason, their prices are better than my local "Ace" hardware too.

Bait and switch. Trish rented a box truck and received confirmation guaranteeing it. When she arrived they didn't have it and gave her a van. Causing more trips. They would not give her a discount on milage or the cost of the van. They wouldn't even throw is a dolly. The manager was very rude and condescending. Will never do business there again.

This store will try to charge you five dollars to pay for your purchase with a credit card. They are passing on Visa's fees they charge the store to the consumer, even though this is in violation of Visa's own policy. If you shop here, carry cash.

If you live near here, it a great place that is friendly, helpfull and carries a wide selection of hardware-based stuff, old style hardware store.
