I guess I parked in the wrong parking place. A very rude lady started yelling and screaming at me, my wife and 7 year old granddaughter. Even after I told her I would move my car she continued to yell. I didn't know a parking place was that serious in these times. Also there was plenty of other parking. This company is one of few companies I have dealt with in Bakersfield and I can truly say they are amazing they are on top of maintenance, manager is always available for anything needed, property is always clean an beautiful as well as inside units they always make sure to take care of any issues or disputes right away to keep their tenants safe and tooken care of.

If you can get past the offensive tenants that believe they run the properties that this company doesn't provide an "Actual On-site Manager" for then it's not so bad. However, the one of the employees that does work in the office is an Absolute! For her only I would give 5 Stars! Mellony goes beyond the call of duty to be completely honest when she deals worth you! Amazing Woman

This company is terrible my air-conditioner has been broke for over 72 hours and all they keep saying is I’m on some type of list it is against the law to have my air-conditioner broke for over 24 hours With 2 kids and it’s literally over 98 degrees in my home in the middle of summer. I’m reporting this company to the BBB and FDIC and the health department!

They are very illegal gave an eviction and gave away all my stuff will be hiring a lawyer today!

Super fast to fix issues, the office girls are really nice and will work with you if you have a problem.

I have rented from Tru Star for about a year now. I have found that they are firm but fair. I needed a little extra time to pay rent and called about a week before rent was due and was able to make arrangements for the rent and late fee's.

Save yourself time and money. ASHLEY the "manager" seems crooked as f*%. We had been renting the a house for 4 years, no problems, paid our rent on time. TruStar was the 3rd management company the owner of the house went thru. She always had an attitude the few times we called for maintenance. We had a balance due that we knew nothing about, when asked why there was a balance she said we were being charged for the plumbing (since we moved in, the back bathroom had bad plumbing) anyways we asked for the bill and bam we got a notice for inspection (not a problem) she does inspection and what do you know, we get a notice to vacate. Don't know why and pretty happy she did, because she just didn't give a dam. We left the house clean with minor wear and tear and a few broken blinds, also for seeding the yard, that grass was never nice and now it really looks like S#%. All our deposit was taken plus $300 more. She lagged on our move out walk through so we just turned in keys. She charged us for things that were on our move in check list. I messed up by not having my copy, she didnt even have the move in walk through but charged us $1300. So how can she charge us for something she has no idea of how it looked at the beginning? Get the Real Estate Bureau involved. STAY AWAY FROM HER BUSINESS.

Do not use this company. They are very very dishonest. They do not care for your property. Very unorganized. We have some very difficult tenants and seems like they don't want to deal with them so this property management breached their contract with us without written notice at the last minute and left us to deal with these tenants who needs to be evicted. DON'T USE THEM

Terrible management if your smart never rent or allow them to manage your properties you will save lots of money and heart ace. These people our thieves who lie and make up fraudulent paper work they throw tenants out just for not allowing you to let them enter your home when your not there, they insisted on visiting our residents when we were not home. And if not things would not get fixed and when they did it was by a unlicensed person who dressed and acted like he was on drugs very uncomfortable feeling, never were we late in 5yr of rent and we were asked to evict. Cause I question why after 5 yr of never having to pay for routine small fixes tru star properties all of a sudden added the bill onto my rent not even informing me just expecting me to pay never was I giving a receipt and was told I dont need to see it so I payed the bill no arguing when asked for a recite again I was told to leave, if I wanna be difficult so can they. Horrible management very unprofessional and most important untrustworthy they will steal your money dont trust them with it please
