Worst Service I ever had, especially the girl in gold and black hair. I ask for water 3 times and bill for 4 times, she always forgot and work for others. We end up asking another boy to help us out. This is not Acceptable as a japanese restaurant. The food is alway but not service.
Train your people better.

Please allow me to preface my review with a short anecdote: Back in 2019, I worked for a few months at a now-closed ramen shop called Mendoki. It was a hole-in-the-wall in Costa Mesa (by the Mitsuwa) with THE BEST Tsukemen known to mankind (at least according to me).

Fast forward to 2023: I've left restaurant work behind for a much more relaxing career as a tech bro (Software Engineer), and although I've tried many different ramen shops, they've always fallen short of the coveted 5-stars ranking if I happen to be on the mood for tsukemen and I order it from them.

No Tsukemen had ever matched the one cooked by my boss at the time Akimoto-san (秋本さん), despite my many attempts at finding something that could rival it, they would all come short.

My search finally came to an end when I set foot inside this establishment, allow me to elaborate:

For starters, they have Shamisen for background music, which truly adds to the ambiance. Cici was one of the most courteous, polite, and efficient servers I've had lately. She made sure my order was taken care of, and that I received everything according to standard.

I ordered the Deluxe Tsukemen, and upon receiving my order, I noticed a few things: the portions are big; they don't skimp on the amount of chashu they serve you, nor on the amount of noodles or broth. The dipping broth is thick, has bamboo shots and even more pieces of chashu in it. It is also seasoned to perfection. The flavored hardboiled egg is cooked to a perfect bite with the right amount of seasoning as well.

All in all, a remarkable experience. This place does only one thing: (Tsukemen) but they do it WELL. No other ramen shop's tsukemen comes even remotely close to matching the quality, splendor, flavor and joy that a single bowl of Tsukemen from this place may bring you.

I wish there was an extra star I could give this establishment, but alas, it is not possible, so they get the top score from me. 5/5. Would definitely go out of my way to eat here in the future.

Amazing place. I actually would say this place is better than the Sawtelle location. Food was better, location has less wait time, and the interior was better too.

Great to see the famous Tsujita Ramen from the West LA to the east part in San Gabriel. Something changes and most things remain the same. In my own opinion, the broth of Tsukemen is much thicker and even more salty than the one in Sawtelle. One can feel the taste and even see the debris of the fish and pork in the broth. The deluxe combo contains eggs, bamboo and certain small dishes. Try the side spicy sauce on the desk and it fits the tsukemen well. There are four pieces of thick sliced chasiu inside the ramen as they insist on doing that. After finishing the noodles, one can ask the staff to add more broth as soup to drink, awesome for that. The price is expensive as both the deluxe combo of Ramen and Tsukmen would be close to $30. When it changes from killer noodles and the grand opening, there are indeed many people in line during dinner and lunch rush hours. Now things seem to be better.

Ordered the deluxe tsukemen. It had thick chewy noodles and nice thick broth. It was surprisingly filling. It was flavorful. Also ordered for appetizer karaage and takoyaki which was a good portion, then for the kids chashu rice bowl, karaage rice bowl the serving seemed the right size for them.
Staff was nice and friendly, got seated right away.

Gotta say, this ramen is good, but for the price tag I expected more. The tsukemen was good, but the server was saying that the soup was hot and told me to be careful. However, I drank the broth without dipping any ramen and it was just more on the warmer side. There should be smoke coming out of this broth since the noodles are actually cold and dipping the noodles will lower the temperature of the broth immensely. The chasiu is good but also a little too thick and fatty for my taste. I actually didn't finish the tsukemen chasiu which is a first for me. The onsen egg for both the ramen is delicious though. The regular tonkotsu ramen was good as well but their chasiu was actually really thin and lean compared to the tsukemen's chasiu, wish it was a little in between you know. And another thing was the lack of soup! We had 2 spoons of soup and there was barely enough left for the ramen itself, such a shame we have the drink the soup sparingly as soup is the essence of ramen.

Will I come back? Maybe not since I can find similar ramen for a cheaper price. With tips and tax we paid almost $60 for just 2 bowls of ramen without any customization.

Unfortunately it tasted very different to me from the original Sawtelle West LA location when I went. Not sure if it was an off day but the broth texture was chalky and the taste was not good. Noodles were great as usual though.

The Tsukemen is amazing! So glad they put one in SGV, now I don't have to drive all the way to Sawtelle for delicious dipping noodles!

The restaurant is around the size of their original location in Sawtelle but is very modern and aesthetically pleasing! The seats are super comfy too!

The staff is really friendly and check in all the time to make sure you have everything you need, overall a 5/5 experience will definitely be back!

$17 for spicy tsukemen that is neither spicy, nor comes with any toppings - no chasshu or egg or anything. Overpricy & unspicy.

*Visited here in early June* Used to go here weekly to Tsujita Hawaii when it was open in Waikiki Yokocho so when they closed abruptly i was sad since it was the best tsukemen noodles around. So while shopping in San Gabriel Valley went here right when it opened for dinner since Ive heard the one in West LA can be crowded. First in line and was not disapointed. Ordered the Deluxe Tsukemen and the taste and flavor was exactly what it was back in the day. That lime squeezed when it hits the noodles is umami to the infinite power Service was great, parking was easy to access downstairs. Hoping to go back again soon

Didn't know this place was no longer Killer Noodle. Was pretty disappointed. It was just okay. Liked Killer Noodle so much more.

If you're a fan of dipping ramen this is a great spot for it. It has that classic ramen looking vibe to it. Good for a quick meal and make sure you get the deluxe, it's worth the extra cost as if you add everything up you save.

The noodles are delicious, but I don’t quite accept this mandatory 20% tip.
The merchant said they didn't charge tips, so the two ordered two bowls of noodles for $20.95 and $18.95. In the end, the checkout attendant came with a credit card machine and swiped us more than 51 yuan. I saw that the table next to me was still asking where the tip was, so he came directly to us. We skipped it. We were only allowed to swipe our credit card. My friend thought it was too fast, but when we added it up, the good guy just counted us 20%. The merchant should take a look at the face value of these two bowls. If you say after tax 50, then I will go to your store to give you a tip.

I'm absolutely thrilled that TSUJITA LA Artisan Noodle has finally opened a branch in the SGV area. No longer do I have to trek all the way to Sawtelle for my Tsukemen fix. Tsukemen is undoubtedly the heart and soul of their menu, and let me tell you, it's a taste sensation! The noodles themselves are a work of art – the perfect balance of chewiness that pairs flawlessly with the rich and flavorful dipping broth. And speaking of that broth, it's a symphony of umami that takes the experience to a whole new level. It's so thick and indulgent that every bite is a savory delight.

The seasoned egg and charsiu slices. These two components are nothing short of exceptional. The seasoned egg boasts a creamy yolk and a depth of flavor that complements the noodles and broth perfectly. And the charsiu slices? They're melt-in-your-mouth tender with a smoky-sweet goodness that's simply irresistible.

Food and service where great! Two negatives in my opinion the soup broth was lukewarm, I don’t know about you but I like my broth hot hot because as it sits it will get cold and that is exactly what happened Second thing my pork was salty! That was unfortunate because the meat was so tender but the saltiness ruined it.
It’s got a nice atmosphere however the place is small and can get crowded. Staff is attentive and kind.
